None are injured; house sustains slight damages. You call it a rocket and I call it a flying gutter ;) ,...
3. For those who can hear
Shalom ,   Ashdod, IL   (08.31.12)
Hashem protects Am Israel and makes miracles which are beyond the natural scope of things. Here is a rocket which made a direct hit on a home but "exploded partially". Did I see anywhere in the article the words "Thank G-d"? Our Rabbis of blessed memory told us that a person has to have ears which can hear in order to be able to listen. I want to add, that a person needs to have a brain in order to comprehend what is going on and offer thanks to Hashem Yitbarakh for His infinite kindness and protection. Tell that to the idiot General Dempsy and tell him, we know that Hashem will always PROTECTS Am Israel.
4. Hear O Israel!
Israel ,   Haifa   (08.31.12)
Time to carpet bomb. Jus' sayin'.
5. #3 Shalom, I hear the undefended Millions crying.IT was deaf
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.31.12)
Those crude Kassam rockets are made of scrap metal and very primitive explosion gear. Unfortunately, it still explodes some time. Could it be that IT helps ...
6. Lawdy, dem rockets gonna fly now!
Cameron ,   USA   (08.31.12)
7. Distressing!
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (08.31.12)
Where is the condemnation, for this attack? What will the global media have to say? Nothing. Nothing at all. Conversely, should we (when we) retaliate, the media will make an issue out of that. My point? Forget the media, forget the UN (what a joke), forget the fallout. Start firing rockets into Palestinian neighborhoods. Except, we fire rockets that actually work. No excuses, no retreat, and no apologies. Simple one on one. They stop, we stop, they fire rockets, we destroy your home.
8. to #6 Cameron in the U.S.
miri ,   israel   (08.31.12)
Not on your life will we allow it to continue !
9. #5 Michael why don't you go live with them
Shalom ,   Ashdod, IL   (08.31.12)
like all empty headed liberals you say things that make you feel good without considering the whole issue. What about the poor people that these "primitive" rockets were supposed to hurt? It is easy for you to say this while sitting in sunny California. I would like to know what you will do if Mexico started firing "primitive" rockets at your place. You see, you do not have ears which can listen and comprehend the whole issue; you are willing to explian each and every item under "the big bang" theory. No my friend; THERE IS a controlling authority called Hashem and whether you like it or not Hashem protects Israel. I am sure that you are not included under that umbrella.
10. Can someone please turn Iron Dome back on?
Sarah B ,   London/Tel Aviv   (08.31.12)
Or is it 'politically expedient' for Netanyahu to have a couple of dead Israelis to take to the UN nextweek? Or are we providing some fresh meat for the Republican Katrina celebration thingie?
11. To #2 and #5 and anyone else who thinks quassam not a threat
Robert ,   Brooklyn NY   (08.31.12)
So you don't think the quassam rockets fired from gaza are not a threat, how would you feel if I fired rockets at your house where you and your family live each day, How would you feel having to run to a bomb shelter with your kids and seeing their traumatized faces.
12. To: No. 6
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.31.12)
Can you lose some of the bemused sarcasm, Cameron? These are real people, who never bothered anyone, and who have been traumatized by 15,000 missiles falling around them. Real children, diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Real elderly individuals, who have had heart attacks. No room for amusement here, Cameron. None at all. Find your entertainment elsewhere.
13. thanks Olmert & Livni
zionist forever   (08.31.12)
Cast Lead was working like a textbook operation, the army wanted an extra week or so to finish the job but it was taking place during an election campaign and all parties had put their cmpaigns on hold during the operation and Livni was behind in all the polls. Her solution was get Olmert to unconditionally end the operation early and do a deal with Hamas over ceasefire terms later. Result was the job didn't get finished and so all the work was undone and Hamas are just as strong today as they were before Cast Lead. Same with Lebanon, no incentive to do the job properly so we lost, Hezbollah are today stronger than anytime they have been in history. Either start a war and see it through to the end or don't start it at all because anything else is a waste of money, recourses and lives.
14. Sderot
Sarah B ,   France/israel   (08.31.12)

15. Re: No. 14

Oh, look! Another one!
16. Iron Dome
John in the Negev ,   Sedot Negev   (08.31.12)
cannot help Sderot, the reaction time is too short. It can work for Ashkelon, Beer Sheva, and just maybe Netivot, but if you are within a few kilometers of Gaza. you are just SOL
17. 2
zionist forever   (08.31.12)
A Kassam might not be a guided missile with the firepower to destroy whole buildings with ease but they are still threats. What happened if there had been somebody close enough to be hit by the explosion of the rocket or flying debris? What if that rocket didn't hit the house and instead hit a child, would you still be making jokes? Look at a bullet its got no technology inside it but if there is somebody standing in the way when you fire that bullet its going to kill them. War is not like the movies where the bad guy can throw everything they got at the hero and he still walks away in the end. Indiana Jones survived a nuclear blast by hiding in the fridge but can't see that happening in real life.
18. I'm so mad my head is color purple
Ehud Barak   (08.31.12)
This time my strong response is coming, make no mistake, I am serious, I will do a very very very, strong response, you just wait and see... /sarcasm off
19. #9 Shalo, Controlling authority joke. Prove it, one case.
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.31.12)
20. #2 Split - real shame you weren't there
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (08.31.12)
when it landed, it's so much safer to hide in the USA, isn't it? You call it a "flying gutter" I call you a sub-moronic idiot
21. #5 Michael, CA
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (08.31.12)
Grenades are also primitive made from simple castings, when they explode they can kill or dismember the target It isn't what it's made of that counts, it's the intent & purpose of what they're being used for Just to let you know, the American Military had estimated it took more than 60,000 bullets to kill a single enemy solider, the 60,0001 is the one that does the damage and kills
22. #6 Cameron, go there,maybe you can
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (08.31.12)
a rocket, using your hands or teeth, or maybe you can blow it away with another blast of your hot air
23. #9 Shalom - Show Michael some respect
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (08.31.12)
He made Yeridah as fast as his feet could carry him
24. #12 Sarah B.
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (08.31.12)
Cameron can't lose his sarcasm, his backside is safe in the USA, there is no danger to his craven carcass
25. #10 Sarah B. It takes time to lock on to
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (08.31.12)
the incoming rocket, Iron Dome doesn't have enough if the rocket if fired from a short distance
26. to #19 Michael re Controlling Authority
Shalom ,   Ashdod, IL   (08.31.12)
The space is limited but here is an example: Who created the universe and everything that is on it? Being simple minded, you will probably say "big bang" theory. Just think about it (if you can) only a simple minded moron can believe that a bang can create such orderly universe where all the planets adhere to their courses without change. Now, Mr know it all, how do you prove the "big bang"? Your opinions are trash and nobody cares for them and are similar to a person who urinates in a dark pants; nobody notices but it give him a warm feeling inside!
27. Why and what
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (08.31.12)
Why did the rocket hit? Because the Sharon Gang, Kadima and Ehud Barak ethnically cleansed the Jews of Gush Katif and, for all intents and purposes, gave Hamas rockets. What is Netanyahu doing? Is he doing his best to avoid repeating this mistake in Judea and Samaria? No. Netanyahu is massing his forces to violently ethnically cleanse more Jews from their homes, and give their land to serve as rocket launch sites against Israel
28. #17
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (08.31.12)
If you respond to #2, smack him down, do not try to reason with him. The fool is saying that Kassams are not deadly by ignoring facts. First, indiscriminate shooting at civilians is a war crime and is considered attempted genocide by International Law, yet he does not condemn Hamas. #2 also ignores the fact that more than half the population of Sderot suffer from PTSD, and there have been several hundred wounded. Most of all, he ignores 28 deaths which is proportionally equal to 1400 American dead.
29. Retake Gaza forever. Reake all our abandoned lands.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.31.12)
All of this misery...all of this suffering has one cause. Israel's idiotic, lunatic retreat from Gaza. We must reverse our destructive retreats. Put an end to our suffering once and for all. Retake Gaza forever. Retake all our abandoned lands.
30. #10, Iron Kippah is ON, ineffective, too expensive, limited
Steven Benassi ,   Silver Bay,   (08.31.12)
...in number of deployments to be effective. But, it helps Israel psychologically.
