1. Just like the "wipe off Map" speech
Peter Morris ,   New Zealand   (08.31.12)
I wonder who the Tehran translator has learnt his craft from. The Iranian President's speech a few years back had nothing to do with wiping physically off the map yet time after time Israeli and other media misquote.

This has happened almost on daily basis. However,Morsi will mature more faster than others desire. The fact that he travelled to Iran is in itself a victory for the Islamic Republic. As time passes, reality will unfold and we may see more of misinterpretation of this relationship between Egypt and Iran

Oh, so you agree that the Islamic Republic's leadership are slimy, self-serving guttersnipes! But I remind you that there are lots of people in Israel who are completely fluent in Farsi. I'm pretty sure that they would have heard speeches and press conferences given by assorted Iranian "leaders" and translated them perfectly. Including those sound bytes about "wiping the 'Zionist entity' from the map."

So you agree that Mitt Romney is a self serving vile slimy guttersnipe? At last you've seen sense.

The mistranslation has been reported widely and will only back up exising prejudices. The "front line states" are so widely discredited it won't make much difference all they do is undermine all flimsy claims that Pals want to live in coexistence with the state of Israel. I am drawing the opinion that there may be some merit in finishing off the fence, withdrawing from what's left of PA territory, building for them a high-speed rail link between WB and Gaza, and Israel declaring a state on Pals behalf with fixed borders. Just leave them to battle it out between themselves Rwanda style.

I could not see how bring Egypt into the Syria conflict helped Assad. Iran using proxies to kill Egyptians, using their territory to attack Israel would help Assad. It has enough enemies in the region as it without adding Egypt. Whom has domestic issues of its own after the revolution. Syria was not a priority sure the Syrian MB get help from the Egyptian MB, now you are talking about the Egyptian Government, military and intelligence. It is not what he says, but they do.

Irans dingbat Ayatollah Kockamamie is mad about the nuke thing. He says if Iran can’t develop it’s nukes, the entire range of Iranian foreign policy objectives would be jeapordized. DUH ya’ think? No nukes means – No nukin’ Israel! That would definitely put a crimp in the foreign policy objectives of Iran who has vowed to wipe Israel off the map. Personally, I think Israel should give Iran nukes – perhaps two or three, first one in Tehran, 15-20 megatons worth would be about right, the next two at military targets or oil terminals of incalculable value.

Only not with translation but with completely out of context sound bites!

Oh, dear. Better go back and read my post -- after you have taken some reading comprehension classes, of course. Where does Mitt Romney fit into the Islamic Republic's leadership? You are such a dolt! And Mitt Romney has my vote. Gnash your teeth and crawl back into your hole.

You are a liar. The translation was not only correct, but repeated several times.
