The subs are from the 1960's. The Dolphin class is brand new. Only Germany-haters would argue as stupidly as you do.
33. Egypt is in dire economic straits, yet it continues to arm
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (08.31.12)
Egypt was struggling to maintain a struggling economy even before the wrongly named "Arab Spring". Some 35% of its men and 45% of its women are functionally illiterate, half get by on $2 a day. Egypt's foreign currency reserves - needed to pay for food imports - are critically low. It's looking for loans from Persian Gulf countries and the IMF just to get by. And it has money to order a major expansion of its navy?! Against who are such armaments intended, Libya? Greece? Or is it that country to the north-east? Why are US arms the largest component of its annual aid to Egypt? Yeah, the people are struggling to get bread, but at least the military is well armed. Is that what passes for "smart power" in Washington today?

Let us not forget that the money for these submarines is reinvested back into Germany along with the portion covered by Israel herself. The money all goes to the shipworks in Kiel and the employees. that make these subs. Overall, it's a net gain for Germany. Also, #15 and 19, let us not continuously visit the sins of the grandfather upon the grandson. People in former West Germany have already established how ashamed they feel of their forebearers' actions. Let's not continually attack their descendants who are friendly people that haven't done anything bad and that are actually helping us.

No Israel got Dolphin subs. The 212 subs are the most advanced german subs.

1. Everyone says the Dolphin is more advanced and everyone knows it...except you. Larger size can be a disadvantage, but it is offset by stealth, which the smaller sub does not have. Only you would consider a larger submarine capable of delivering nuclear missles to an enemy that is working towards the goal of shooting them first, “not advantageous”. 2. Israel never counted on, nor was aided, by US ships...or soldiers or pilots. The Russians knew it and even King Hussein admitted it. Don’t you tire of showing your stupidity?

Just because what a person says is not very intelligent, it does not mean we should point it out to them or say they are lacking in intelligence. You're better than that, mate.

You have a point. However it is difficult to keep answering those who post nonsense after nonsense as if they are sane and therefore deserve a logical answer.
