Paul ,   South Africa   (09.02.12)
Its long overdue that the majority of normal, ordinary decent people start to finally show their true feelings. The anti-Israel crowd might have in the past got the limelight through the scewed media, but they are truly a minority. Its long overdue that we pro-Israel supporters become a lot more vocal.
3. Finally, some good news!
Ron ,   Toronto   (09.02.12)
Too often Ynet publishes bad news about Israel and Jews. This is finally a good news story. Thank you for making the world seem a little bit more tolerant.

8. New York Jews Can Learn...
john ,   uk   (09.02.12)
In NY most jews are busy defending the terrorist, coming up with excuses for them, the NY jews there dont understand when a jew talks bad about jews and israel hes looked down on, just like when you hear a black person talking bad about blacks, you look down at him as he looks like a coward.

13. May there be many more such rallies
Rivkah F. ,   Jerusalem   (09.02.12)
Hope there will be bigger rallies not only in Sweden but all over Europe and the U.S & Canada. It took a lot of courage and those who are pro-Israel must step forward. Thanks.
14. finally!
tiki ,   belgium   (09.02.12)
European Jews & other sensible people are starting to wake up and make their voices heard! They are not taking these hatefull rallies anymore and are starting to fight back against the Muslim overtake and irrational anti semitic / anti Israel behaviour!
15. Organizer's name
Vilgot T ,   Drammen Norway   (09.02.12)
Please, try to get it right at last: her name is Annika Herroth-Rothstein.
16. whats wrong with europe ?
Sarah B   (09.02.12)
No I am not the real Sarah B I am zionist forever but I just couldn't resist. In Germany we have non Jews wearing kippot as an act of solidarity. In Sweeden traditionally very anti Israel we have 1200 people taking to the streets in a pro Israel rally. Are the Europeans all taking drugs or something because this really is not like them, whatever it is they are taking I hope they keep taking it.
17. Is all about marketing!!
Daniel ,   Netherlands   (09.02.12)
Anti-Israel is not the most numbers of people, but rather the most noisy ones and sometimes the only one heard.. I do not believe the Islam has many followers among non-political citizens. Is about time to market the right message to show our part of the story
18. ... and "Berlin's 'kippah flashmob' ". Is Europe changing?
leo ,   usa   (09.02.12)
Nah, probably not.
19. Thanks to all the people who came to support Israel !
Israeli citizen ,   Israel   (09.02.12)
I believe I'm speaking in the name of all the Israeli civilians when I say thanks to all of you who doesn't go blindly after the pro-palestine europian media, and have their own opinion. As a student in southern Israel who got bombarded dozens of times, I have nothing against the palestinian civilians, and believe they're victims of terrorism as much as we are. I hope your rally is one of many pro-Israel activism to come. It's truly a heart-warming news. Again, thanks to all of you who came to support Israel.
20. I am a state of shock! Swedenstan is seeing the light?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (09.02.12)
The pro-Palestinian folks in Europe and other countries in the "civilized" world should take a moment to think about who they are supporting. Whether the "Occupation" is right or wrong is not the issue. Most of these "holier than thou" folk are just plain Antisemites riding on the popular Palestinian cause. Those who are really concerned about Human Rights should take a good look at Human Rights in the Palestinian Authority and and especially those of the people of Gaza, ruled autocratically by Hamas! Women are treated like chattels in most of the Islamic World. Homosexuality is punishable by death. Women are murdered in "Honor Killings" and for petty crimes against their male "owners" are victims of the lash. These "good hearted folk" who take pride in bashing, vilifying and criminalizing Israel and Jews and screaming Human Rights violations should look at Human Rights in China and its complete subjugation of the country of Tibet! There is no doubt that Israel that deals with those who wish to wipe out Israel and slaughter another 6,000,000 Jews with a very heavy had but that is the only way that Israel and the Jewish people will survive!

We have an annual "Salute to Israel" Parade that attracts tens of thousands of people yearly. I never attend, sadly, as I am usually in Israel at the time. As for a black person talking bad about a black person, I'm not sure where you draw that from. There are many instances of well-educated black people growing up hating the less-educated of their fellow blacks because some of them consider the person's pursuit of knowledge and desire for education to be traits of a white person. I have several black friends I grew up with who faced that treatment in their neighbourhoods. Now, of course, they want to try and give the love of knowledge to more of the people who don't fully appreciate it.

23. Israel isolation is a myth
marcelo tuchman ,   RIO,BRAZIL   (09.02.12)
I insist, but no one lesson,Israel and Jewish isolation in Europe is a myth. There is the proof. Sweden is a rich country, with small number of muslins, small number of jews. But,quantity, is not quality.

solomon ,   bklyn   (09.02.12)
Ever hear of the Israel Day Parade in New York? Ever bother to read articles in NY magazines or newspapers that support Israel? Ever bother to go to NY synagogues and hear what is actually being said (and not what you "know" is being said)? Ever bother to talk to any of the many institutions that support Israel? Obviously not. You are invited to come to NY to see for yourself. The distance from NY to the UK causes myopia.
25. I must repeat
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (09.02.12)
my yesterday's comment. Hundreds of millions support Israel in their hearts and it is more important, than the corrupt government's political declarations.
26. Similar things are happening all accross the US in churches
hosting "A night to ,   honor Israel".   (09.02.12)

BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (09.02.12)
It's quite obvious that you have never been to an "Israel Day Parade"
28. thank you!

תודה רבה שוודיה!
29. #8. john: Gentile Americans are baffled
Tom W ,   USA   (09.02.12)
American Jews keep repeating the famous slogan "Never Again" and at the same time pouring their money and support to the radical antisemitic left and the Muslim sympathizer Obama. Their Marxist persuasion overrides all common sense and one cannot reason with them. The spreading opinion and consensus is that they are deserving what will come at them: their vicious self hate will devour them eventually.
30. Thanks to them !
