Jason's notion that if Iran attacks Israel with nuclear weapons, Israel will then attack Saudi Arabia and Iraq is exactly why Israel is viewed as a dangerous aggressor who would ignite a regional war. First of all, Iran would hardly squander whatever precious few nukes it might have developed; secondly, Iran would hardly want to irradiate its allies, the Palestinians and Shi'ite Lebanese. And the global condemnation might have actual unpleasant political, diplomatic, and economic consequences for Israel, regardless of whether the US was stupid enough to allow itself to be sucked into yet another war on behalf of Israel. Besides, Israel couldn't even destroy Hezbollah's hardened bunkers, much less do any real damage to Iran's much deeper underground facilities that are most certainly hardened against any bunker-buster that Israel might possess. If Americans get dragged into yet another war in that region. they may finally get fed up enough to realize that Israeli interests aren't always the same as America's; in fact, they usually are antithetical to American interests.
