1. Shouldn't American voters,
Jarda ,   Czech Republic   (09.05.12)
even Jewish, vote for candidate, who is the best for US?
2. Ophir Falk is right on!
dedicatged fan ,   canada   (09.05.12)
if more people listened, we might be in a different place.
3. #1 Jarda
Mickey ,   Sydney, Australia   (09.05.12)
Voting for the presidential candidate most capable of confronting Iran threat, is a vote for the candidate who is the best for US
4. Romney is a Risk but Obama is a Certainty
voter   (09.05.12)
I dont know about Romeny but Obama has proven he cant be trusted - "he does not have Israel's back". He is a back stabber...
5. of course - it is in America's best interest to stop Iran
Reply to 1   (09.05.12)
6. US has the right not to support Israel.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (09.05.12)
But US does NOT have the right to negate a pledge, specially when its most needed. No one, least of all Israel and Jewish voters, should forget such a wrong. Its very Un-American too.
7. #1 Its not about whats best for the US
Batel ,   Florida, USA   (09.05.12)
A nuclear Iran is bad for the entire world. so by helping Israel we are helping ourselves.
8. The candidate who recognizes Israel's capital, Jerusalem
PP206 ,   USA   (09.05.12)
this is more important, and it is already clear which one it is.
9. Completely out of touch
Eli ,   Jerusalem   (09.05.12)
This articles clearly shows how out of touch Ophir Falk is with the American reality. As important as the Iranian threat seems in this part of the world, the average American is concerned literally with the bread and butter issues of the economy, jobs, housing. The Americans are going through an economic crisis if you do not know. They have two wars going on at the moment. They are 16 Trillion dollars in debt. The candidate who wins will be the one that gives the American people the greater hope to right their economic situation...and not the one who proposes war with Iran.
10. In plain English this is called "EXTORTION".
WikMiki   (09.05.12)
11. And if neither of them can confront the Iranian threat?
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (09.05.12)
Well, we know for sure that Romney can't. And we know that Obama neither can nor wants to (understandably so). Then what?
12. That's Israeli hutzpa !
Gregg ,   Haifa, IL   (09.05.12)
Americans will vote for whoever is good for them ! Being jewish or not is IRRELEVANT ! Americans don't tell Israelis who to vote for ! Once again, Israelis acting like spoiled kids...
13. Obama has always had the jewish vote even without campaignin
zionist forever   (09.05.12)
Obama wouldn't even have to campaign to get the Jewish vote for the most part its his by default because no matter what he does the Jews will still love him. Even when he was at his most anti Israel the Jews loved him. Even when the black voters started getting critical the Jews loved him Even though he hasn't created all the jobs he promised and he has doubled the national debt since becoming president the Jews still love him. The only thing that make the Jews critical is if hundreds of Iranian missiles were hitting Israel and Obama sat back, made speeches and did nothing to stop it the way he is doing in Syria. Even then knowing the US jews and their love of Obama many of them would still vote for him even if the missiles were falling on election day.
14. There is no sane reason to vote for Obama.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.05.12)
Obama is ruining America. By every objective criteria; unemployment, deficits, homelessness etc, America is FAR worse off today than when Obama was inaugurated. Obama is also an enemy of Israel. He tries to humiliate Israel's P.M. Obama opposes Israel saving herself by destroying Iran's nukes. Obama is an out and out disgrace. There is no sane reason to vote for him.
15. Have U seen the Democrats Conference IL resolutions? Oh boy!
Alan ,   SA   (09.05.12)
16. Trust,...Loyalty.....Obama,,,,,
Gideon Reader   (09.05.12)
...BWAHAHAhahahaha. Stop! You are killing me. Literally
17. If American Jews Are Single Issue Voters....
World Citizen   (09.05.12)
And That Issue Is Israel, Shouldn't They Just Move To Israel? The USA needs voters that are dedicated to solving American problems, not the ones of a foreign state. Iran is not a threat to the USA no matter what Bibi says. And truth be known Iran is not a threat to Israel. Rational Israelis know this. Iran is a diversion from Israel's social and economic problems. That's what Bibi wants Israelis to not think about during this election cycle.
18. Jewish voters
George ,   USA   (09.05.12)
It is not in the American voters interest to go to war with Iran. It is not in Israel interest to go to war with Iran. Therefore, vote for the man that will help keep both of us out of war. B.Obama
19. election reality
michael Pielet ,   israel   (09.05.12)
Romney will receive a much greater percentage of the Jewish vote in 2012, than McCain received in 2008. I believe that in Florida, the only swing state where the Jewish vote is significant, Romney will receive a majority of the Jewish votes. Jews who are religious and or supporters of Israel, who identify as Jews will overwelmingly support Romney. Assimilated, incidental, non identifying Jews will lean towards Obama. Its that simple.
20. tell them directly - vote for Romney
nadav   (09.05.12)
21. Who tried to humiliate who?
Mark ,   Cleveland OH   (09.05.12)
There is no ego in politics larger than Bibi's. But he is at the helm of the most egotistical country on the planet, so it works for him. He clearly put his eggs in the Republican basket by ignoring the wishes of the Democratic party, and when they win the next election, you will see Bibi pay a heavy price for his swelled head.
22. Missing the most critical factor
Avramele   (09.05.12)
Being able to unite western powers in response to Iran is a critical task. Obama and Clinton have credibillty and Romney and his neo-con retreads have none. Bibi is not trusted in world circles and his FM is a bad joke. Single handedly they are destroying American good will and bi-partisan support for Israel. Don't bet on the wrong horse Israel!
23. Both can't do anything
(09.05.12)
Let's be honest. From an American perspective the Israeli government pulled the wool over their eyes 10 years ago with faulty intelligence regarding Iraq and look what happened. Israel took care of Syria on her own without George Bush's support (and everyone though he was a huge supporter of Israel).
24. 22 Avramele - appeasement is NOT credibility
Thinking Jew ,   Israel   (09.05.12)
Obama & Clinton offer appeasement and receive nothing in return. Guaranteed failure.
25. The more Israeli media pimps for Romney...
Tim ,   UK   (09.05.12)
...the more Americans will flock to Obama. Keep it up, ynet.
26. #1 Your post would make more sense
Jake   (09.05.12)
if you weren't a single-issue poster, dedicated exclusively to slandering Israel.
27. #12 Are you sure US has never meddled in Israeli elections?
Jake   (09.05.12)
Think again.
28. #17, What difference should that make to a "world ctizen"?
Jake   (09.05.12)
By your own definition, you are a self-proclaimed "world citizen", loyal to no partitular country. So what American Jews or Israelis choose to vote for is of no concern to you.
29. #23 The Israeli government had nothing to do with Iraq war
Jake   (09.05.12)
That conspiracy theory and canard has been thoroughly disrcredited from a long list of US officials, from the intelligence community to Bush himself.
30. Pretty arrogant article...
Jeff ,   USA   (09.05.12)
We'll vote however we damn-well please... we don't interfere with your elections... please stay out of ours.
