1. The ayatollahs!!!
Jusanz77 ,   Vzla   (09.05.12)
The ayatollahs when reading this news, must smile of satisfaction. Some politicians in Israel are on the verge of madness. Playing with state security, only to find political fruit.
2. So going from having certain knowledge
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.05.12)
of what Iran is getting up to at Fordo Natanz etc. It now appears Israel's intelligence community is not sure about what is happening. And rather than see his credibility on the matter undermined, Netanyahu has spat out his dummy thrown his toys out of the pram and stopped the security discussion. Netanyahu is clearly a liability to the security of Israel and it's people, his only real interest is keeping his name on the door of the Prime Minister's office It is iportant that the Israeli people have all the information to hand to make informed choices, not just what Netanyahu wants them to hear to fit his narrative.
3. American interference
(09.05.12)
What the yanks don't realize is that Iran has the U.S. in its sites, not just Israel, and any attempt to thwart an attack on Iran, just to show Israel who is boss, is an act of treason.
4. Get Smart.
Jusanz77 ,   Vzla.   (09.05.12)
Only in Get Smart with Agent 86 and in your brain all the public has access to information security status. In serious countries, the state security offices in charge of handling this, not the public. Unless you think that KAOS is a correct name of state security.

Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (09.05.12)
Indeed they do seem to be on the verge of madness. And now they are having childish tantrums as well, after having arranged for themselves some distorted sort of dictatorial decision making process which works only to their advantage.
7. Another one of Bibi's red herrings

9. Traitors in Israel
Yaakov ,   Beer Sheva   (09.05.12)
The high-positioned leaker should be tried for High Treason while passing info to our lethal enemies through the unpatriotic and unscrupulous media. Surely, the death penalty is needed in Israel for all traitors and terrorists. And what to say of the pathetic foreign-owned and commanded media? Those who collaborate with traitors and terrorists under the guise of a misguided "freedom of expression" should also face the music for their evil actions. In the name of the "freedom of expression" which only works for traitors and terrorists-enablers, this Talkback will be deleted. But you heard me and you know that we Israelis are waking up from your evil deceptive spell. Like in Ha'Aretz, there are traitors in Yedioth Ahronoth. Oh, how much would they love to see Israel fall and every Jew killed, even if that means themselves too.
10. American interference
lightharry ,   New York   (09.05.12)
What do we have to do with your war?
11. Like a sieve - too many leaks, too often.
me ,   here   (09.05.12)
In any other country it would have been punishable under the law. This has nothing with censorship to do but these matters are far too important to be discussed in public = in front of the enemy. So could the media, Ynet included, PLEASE shut up! We are NOT interested in reading about things that might help Iran and its proxies so better keep it mum.
12. PARANOIA can be CURED, provided the "patient" cooperates is

If by some chance Iran ever mangages to deliver a nuke to New York you might wish we had gotten involved in "their war."
19. Bibis right - leaking security secrets is a crime
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (09.05.12)
He needs to take control, but to restart the meeting. Maybe he needs to seclude the cabinet members like they do for a jury - until the first bomb falls.
20. to no. 2 Not the Real Sara. Are you Nuts?
(09.05.12)
Security information is not for the public domain. On security Isues we have an elected Government named by the people to handle isues in a private and secure way. Dont confuse democracy with stupidity. You think an action against Iran is going to be known to the public before it happens. There is no country on the world where the Security information is of public domain. You imagine if the USA would have leaked information about the actions that the seals took on Bin Laden, prior to the atack? Maybe today Bin Laden wouldn't be dead. The surprise factor is important regarding security issues. What made Israel victorious in the 6th Day war was the way it handled it's security information. While the arabs boasted to have destroyed all the Israeli Planes and it's armies ..Israel was mum. In the 3rd day, the first information came out; Al of Arab airforces were destroyed practically on the ground. By Israel not leacking information, and arabs bluffing about their victories not even Nasser nor Hussein had the minimum information of what was going on. Security Information was one of Israe's biggest victory.
21. #20 In wartime
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.05.12)
I'm talking peace time and a democratic process where the Israeli people are informed of the situation as is known. Not a one sided view given by the Prime Minister of Israel which suits hos own particular purposes. Previously the Prime Minister assured the Israeli people that Israel had firm evidence that Iran was developing the bomb. Yet apparently that is not the case at all. In the UK and the US in the run up to the Iraq invasion there was a discussion between politicians and the public. The element of surprise was still achieved when the attack did come.
22. Leak, Iran not building nukes, contrary to PSYWAR mantra
