1.  University accreditation… Supreme Court is unqualified
LT COL HOWARD ,   WASHINGTON DC   (09.08.12)
1."This is a critical decision for Israel's higher education system," a member of the academia said Saturday. "There is no room for political interests and that is why the High Court is the only body that should discuss the matter…….This statement is nonsense and very political.. A visiting committee of scholars from abroad should be the one to make the recommendation. I can suggest specific individuals of outstanding international reputation who are very familiar with Israeli higher education and Israeli scientific and technical accomplishments and requirements. If anyone is interested my e-mail is available through this posting by contacting the editor to forward the request. If you don't like the candidates that I suggest don't use them. However, the concept is the only one that will keep this issue out of partisan politics. 2. However, according to international law, the military is the sovereign in the West Bank and therefore the Central Command chief is the only party authorized to rule on the matter….. I have submitted this statement to our State Department and Defense Department legal authorities. In their view it is nonsense. I do not have the training to make any comments of my own, but on the face of it it appears that it was a technical arrangement that is being stretched for political purposes.
2. To: No. 1
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.09.12)
Visiting scholars from abroad? Are you out of your mind? Is that how American universities get accredited? How about universities anywhere else in the world? Stop spouting nonsense. The military is indeed sovereign in Judea and Samaria, however, the High Court in Israel has given itself jurisdiction which it does not have under international law. Not the wisest move in the world for Israel to have made, but it was done in the hopes that the ersatz "Palestinians" actually were interested in peace. They are not; they never have been. The best way to end this whole tempest in a teapot would be for Israel to simply annex Judea and Samaria and repatriate its hostile Arab population to Jordan, country of their citizenship.
3. Allow West Bank Arabs to live in Ariel, work, go to school
Steven Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (09.09.12)
...anything less is Apartheid.
4. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.09.12)
Israeli Arabs do go to school in Ariel. Very few Arabs in Judea and Samaria speak Hebrew. That presents a problem. Tell me -- is it apartheid that Bob Jones University separates black and white students? Why aren't you out manning the ramparts over that one? You're just a one-trick pony, aren't you? Anything at all to criticize Israel. That really gets your rocks off. Which may be why you aren't in the least bit interested in the truth. How sad for you. But shut up anyway. The ridiculous and uninformed tripe you spout endlessly is really rather tiresome.
5. Boycott Ariel College

Give its funds to Ariel!
