Most Americans really don't care about U.S. Politics either because of cynicism (like myself) or because of apathy resulting from focus on their own lives or pop culture. The only reason everyone got so interested in Obama was because he turned himself into a pop icon. Most Americans are too apathetic for there to be any kind of radicalisation though.

Who has called Romney's speech one of the worst in the history of the RNC? Left or right, I have not read that.
Obama's wasn't impressive but it wasn't terrible (though I disagree with his positions).
This opinion piece is just bizarre. At just 5 short paragraphs, it seems he needed to crank one out at the last minute to meet the deadline. It shows.

The voice vote on Jerusalem did reveal a divide. It also revealed that hasbara has failed miserably with Democratic party activists who had a momentary temper tantrum. Another cautious reason why an attack on Iran will be a nail in the coffin of bi-partisan support for Israeli government behavior. Israel has no one to blame but Bibi and Sheldon.
