31. Nobody is stopping you!
Avi ,   NYC, US   (09.11.12)
Go ahead, big boy! You have been threatening to attack for so long...unless somebody does the dirty work for you. Not gonna happen. The Americans woke up to see that you are a much greater risk than Iran is. You will have to attack by yourself...if you dare.
32. Looking or someone to blame? Try us!
Ezra ,   San Diego USA   (09.11.12)
Negotiations "by far the best approach" to prevent the Islamic Republic from developing nuclear weapons? No. Negotiations are the best way to DELAY the inevitable conflict. They do nothing else. Either way, the world needs someone to blame all their problems on. Why not Israel?
33. blah blah
postroad ,   USA   (09.11.12)
The US has said a few times that Israel has the right to act as it sees fit...this blustering guy blames the US. in passing: it is clear that Israel can not do it alone.
34. Not in his right mind
Avramele   (09.11.12)
The hysterical outbursts of the PM, first in front of the American ambassador, now this, is cause for great concern. Note also that he is receiving minimal support from America even from the usual right wing elements in the Jewish establishment. This rosh hashanah pray for his sanity.
35. 1000 % correct amen.

36. #5 Milk,
Shalom ,   U.S.A.   (09.11.12)
Bsed on on your post I assume you were present at the meeting with Netanyahu and Shapiro.
37. It's A Miracle !
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.11.12)
It's a miracle ,Netantyahu is awakening from his long coma. The big question is; Willl Ehud Barak take off his knee pads and stop thinking that Washington is Israel';s God ? Reacting to Netanyahu’s demand for the US to set red lines — which, if crossed by Iran, would prompt US-led military action — Clinton said on Sunday “We are troubled that our cherished lap dog Netanyahu is waking up to our diabolical and treacherous agenda ,but at the same time the US is in bad shape financially,a Banana Republic you might say and we now have to ask permission from China to do much of anything anymore. "Our image of a superpower is a smokescreen, it's a facade , we're just another empty suit, past tense empire on the skids and I'm surprised that Israel is finally waking up to this reality". Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man. 9 It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in princes ..of liars Obama.
38. Most of U should be ashamed of yourselves
Israel Watchdog ,   Akko, Israel   (09.11.12)
Most of these commentators should be ashamed of themselves. If you cared the least about Israel, you'd support and encourage her. You have no respect for those in authority. You assume that you know "all" the facts. There could be many reasons for Bibi's comments, from purposful misdirection to frustration at seeing a replay of history from WW2. You are watching the last stages of a cry to the world to get its act together. Understand the times that we are in. You will not be able to say you were not warned. Supportive advice goes much further than mindless, irresponsible rhetoric.
39. PM is absoluetly right. The spirit that
DT ,   TA Israel   (09.11.12)
allowed the Holocaust to happen is alive and well in most western governments
40. # 2
Philip . ,   Afula Israel   (09.11.12)
Very well said.
41. thank god for Bibi
nadav ,   tlv   (09.11.12)
If we had Livni or Yechimovich, we'd be dead by now while if Olmert was PM, he'd be buying up real estate in europe so he and his family could escape just before the nuclear cloud over tel aviv... thank goodness for Likud! The Jews can have some self-respect again.
42. I say take all the world's idiot warmongering leaders.
nibor ,   israel   (09.11.12)
And close them in a room, and let them blow each other up, and let us live our lives! Oh, and that includes all those fraudulent Ayatollahs.
43. @5 bollocks!
mo ,   isl   (09.11.12)
" If your country could successfully pull off an attack you would have ordered one" What happened in Syria on '07? Isl sought US backing first then went it alone. I am quite confident it will do it again! Even if it is not as successful, in the eyes of our leader and most rational people - its worth a try to stop being nuked in a couple of years!
44. #43 Missed an important bit of info there
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (09.11.12)
The United States provided real time intel whilst raid was in progress. And probavbly jammed Syrian radar as well, and certainly ensured Turkey didn't do anything embarrasing when bits of the IAF were found scattered all over it. The fact is, Israel cannot attack Iran without the direct help of the United States and her allies in the region. Which is why Israel has not attacked Iran's nuclear facilities, the blowback outweighs the possible gains.
45. The World is wrong!
Sarah B ,   USA / Israel   (09.11.12)
I fully support Bibi on this one thank G-d he's speaking out in the name of the Jewish people. The Iranians are simply rectal trolls that will go to any length in order to gain access to weopons of rectal destruction causing as much pain and soreness as is humanly possible. It's quite disgusting and a real sloppy mess! Eew!
46. i have to agree
Chimo ,   USA   (09.11.12)
I am vehemently pro Israel, I'm jewish and plan on going to see Israel when i can afford to. Having said that, i think Netanyahu needs to shut up already and stop making these speeches about Iran and just do whatever it is that he and the Generals and all those who run Israel have determined to do. At this point, all he can do is turn more world opinion against Israel and since the world doesn't need a reason to hate Israel, tell Bibi to shut up and stop giving them one.
47. isreal red line
bobby w ,   no country   (09.11.12)
God and bombs. Think about it. If there is a god, show me the proof, and hopefully he's not an old testament angry yahweh who goes killing and raping. Deuteronomy? Have you read it? It's barbaric!
48. Ethics of our Fathers
AB ,   TheRock   (09.11.12)
"If I am not for myself, who will be for me?" If Israel has to go it 'alone' because the rest of the world once again couldn't care less about what happens to us or wants us to do their dirty job for that same reason, then so be it. We are the Chosen Nation - for good or for bad. Our eyes are lifted to Heaven as always. The One and Only All Powerful. Only he can save us.
49. US must drop the first big bunkerbusters..
Beary White ,   Norway   (09.11.12)
Only US has the best plane to deliver those bigges bunker- busters.
50. #31 Sure...
Alex   (09.11.12)
"Avi" (Ali) did you stumble onto the wrong website while browsing for Stormfront's "Jews are the biggest threat to humanity" section?
51. #44
(09.11.12)
"the blowback outweighs the possible gains". - The reason Israel have not attacked is the fear of causalities, if it would have been a clear simple strike like has been both to Iraqi and Syrian facilities there'd been no problems. But Iran with ally hezbullah will likely launch terror attacks and the killings of Israeli civilians. That is the risk Israel so greatly needs to consider and they certainly don't need no outside meddling on the dealings of their affairs. And without US backing up Israel, EU media will as usual portray Israel as the bad guy (they basically already do). A direct military support in the attack is not as vital as a moral back up, but not even that is seen...
52. # 1 Sarah how about YOU DO IT?
Bad Ased Jew ,   United States   (09.11.12)
I mean who fasts and prays nowadays except overweight fearful souls? Fasting and prayer never killed one enemy. Armies do.
53. Americans do not like being bullied.
Abe Froman ,   NY, NY   (09.11.12)
Especially on 9/11. Netanyahu is making Israel look very bad over here. People I know who are apolitical are talking about this ultimatum. Which is what it is. If Netanyahu wants to attack, go for it. Nobody is stopping him.
54. Wait until what?
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (09.11.12)
It's clear. The Obama policy, as stated by Hillary Clinton and the top military officials, is to wait until mushroom clouds are rising over Tel Aviv and Haifa. They undoubtedly have their speeches condemning the attacks written already. If Iran is to be stopped, it will have to be Israel, acting alone, who stops it.
55. #45 Sarah B
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.11.12)
Yet another deeply insightful post presenting a clearly balanced view of the situation Israel finds itself in and the political and economic ramifications which would happen if Netanyahu ignored the international community and attacked Iran. You can be proud and I am sure your God is proud as well
56. Netanyahu has a problem
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.11.12)
and that problem is Iraq. The fact that the intelligence was so wrong pertaining to Iraq's so called weapons of mass destruction. Means that any politician ordering a new war in the Middle East would probably end his/her career, particularly thanks to Netanyahu, there is a perception that any attack on Iran is on behalf of Israel.. As Israel can do nothing other than delay Iran's nuclear programme the latest 'noise' coming from Netanyahu's office is likely a smokescreen to derive an excuse he can give to the Israeli people as to why they are not at war with Iran. Essentially, he is going to blame the International Community for a crisis Netanyahu artificially created in order to get elected as Prime Minister
57. to no. 3
Riva ,   Eshchar, Israel   (09.11.12)
The problem is that Israel has too many red lines. Put up both by Israel and by the world's double standards towards her.
58. Stop the tough talk
Nick ,   NYC, USA   (09.11.12)
If Israel launches a "preemptive" war against Iran, it will find itself without friends. Nuclear technology is 80 years old--plenty of countries have it. It's Old School, as Israel well knows. Stop the hysteria. You can delete my comment, or not display it, but I represent the vast majority of world opinion. And I'm American.
59. Avramele, an innocent question
(09.11.12)
the very fact that you take sides with an avowed anti-Israel enemy foreigner instead of oyour own PM, what does that make you in reality???
60. Oh my! Today my posts have been censored.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (09.11.12)
They are some where in cyberspace.
