Obama would rather ignore the problem because his deep emotional connection is the the Moslem world as well as to the US. Obama does not want to start a new military confrontation with any Moslem country. Making it clear to Obama is not jeopardizing Israel's relationship with the US which is not based on Obama but on decades of Israel-US co-operation on strategic matters. Also look at the split in the Democratic party over including both God and Jerusalem in their party platform. The warnings are clear, the Democrats have brought some very dangerous anti Israel people into their party and that will get worse.

Bibi is the only Israel PM that has shown his preference for a particular candidate in an election year in American politics. Obama is smart to know what Bibi is doing but in the end, Israel is suffering from PM recklessness. Bibi is talking war to create anxiety in the US economy, rise to cost of oil, cause economic hardship in the US, so that his man Romney will be elected. Obama isn't falling for all his loose talk of war.
