If elections were held now between Daphne Leef, tax rises and failure to reach and agreement with Mofaz on haredi enlistment and we will have a Labor victory or heaven forbid even a Yair Lapid victory is not impossible. Kadima is going into meltdown and many Kadima members who are not left enough for Labor but don't like Bibi might see Lapid as a good alternative. Some traditional Likud voters who are dissapointed with Bibi may decide Lapid is the man for them so Lapid is a real threat to Bibi. So hold an election now Bibi & your history. If you can hold out another year then you have a chance at turning things around by introducing some vote willing policies but nobody ever won an election on the back of tax rises.
