31. # 29 Gee, where I come from a democracy
Ken ,   Burma at Peace   (09.12.12)
is a government elected by the people of that country, their called citezens, and they all hold a position in that government , otherwise it is not a democracy. Are you sure Israel is a democracy?
32. # 23 Wang- point well made, China has a peace Plan.
Ken ,   Burma at Peace   (09.12.12)

Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.13.12)
It is all about spenmding money on an ever decreasing resource which is steadily becoming more expensive. Nuclear generated electricity is a carbon free way of providing cheap electricity freeing up currency reserves for other uses such as health education and technology In the longer term this will make Jordan more stable politically and is actually good news for Israel. And on the plus side the reactors Jordan wants to build do not produce anything that can be used in a nuclear weapon.
34. #15 - show me where Israeli threatened that
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
Israel never threatened to "flatten" any nation in response to the continued attacks and threats they receive from racist Arabs. But Israel did promise to respond strongly to such attacks and, based on precedent, that means targeting the very individuals and infrastructure involved in the attacks on Israel. Israel never threatened to destroy an entire nation nor ever acted in that direction, unlike our neighbors who have been threatening Israel/Jews for 92 years now.
35. #18 - so now a few posts are tied to Israeli State policy?
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
Is that what you are suggesting? Your own post said "Israel threatened...." now you admit it was just a few posters, on an Israeli news site, who might not even be Israeli. I bet you're squirming the same way the spokesperson, Justin Ruben, for MoveOn.org did when grilled by CNN's Andersen Cooper on their respective attempt to spread falsehoods.
36. #27 - it came from a NY Post columnist
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
who claimed it came from an Israeli source, without admitting who it was. How many times have journalists, especially liberal ones, made claims based on "inside sources" and refused to divulge such sources, causing everyone just to take their word for it? But keep in mind - any threat that would be made by Israel was a result of Iran's push towards weapons which Iran has already threatened to use offensively, before they even got them. So clearly, Iran is not developing any nukes as a defensive measure.
37. #32- I doubt Taiwan, Japan, and Philippines
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
would agree with you.
38. #33 - Jordan already receives aid to cover education, health
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
so their currency is already freed up from expenses dealing with healthcare and education, and trade. The only way for Jordan to remain stable is for the Monarch to remain in power, and he currently does this through force, being the minority. You do remember that the Kingdom withdrew citizenship from thousands of "Palestinians" in order to end their influence there, right? Jordan is targeted by the Shiites in Iran who want to add it to their sphere of influence, and Muslim Brotherhood who have been trying to make in-roads there for years (as they did in Syria). With a win in Egypt, they see a chance in Jordan. Placing Uranium stockpiles and waste in Jordan, under security by an unstable regime, is not an answer for stability. The world is nervous right now for Pakistani nukes, despite being under heavily security, and for good reason.

40. #31 - who are Israel's citizens?
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze...Men, Women...religious, secular...and they all seem to be represented in the govt, through voting. if that's not "democracy", kindly explain what is. I understand libtards continue to deform the definition of "democracy" to adhere to their current agenda, but give a whack at it anyway.
41. #33 - it's not the waste component that worries people
William ,   Israel   (09.13.12)
It's the possibility of loss of that waste component, which can be refined to a level for use in a weapon. Not to mention a radioactive dirty bomb.
42. 20
Mark   (09.14.12)
I'm sure King Abdullah cares if Gunnar in Gothenberg Sweden repsects him.
43. this is exactly what the middle east needs,
j.k. ,   brooklyn usa   (09.15.12)
nuclear bombs in the hands of the jordenian muslim brotherhood.
