Unfortunately, the success of Mit's equity firm came at the cost of many jobs. Obama's not the perfect president - none are. But the economy has improved very slowly since Bush's loss of 740,000 jobs towards the end of his administration. Furthermore, no president's administration has done more to strengthen the military defense (and offense) of Israel than Obama.

Obama is not bankrupting the US government. Under his responsibility as president he has gotten us out of the war in Iraq and is getting us out of the war in Afghanistan. Many lives will be saved and much money needed for our economic recovery. Before Obama became president,Bush(the son) had cut taxes early in his administration and got us into a war in Iraq based on the spurious notion that Sadaam(obviously his scientists and engineers) had developed weapons of mass destruction - with absolutely NO proof! Bush shouldn't have been re-elected - he should have been tried for treason! The economy tanked initially under Bush - the worst since the great depression of the '30s.

How can 70% of US Jews vote for Obama???!! Is this some kind of self-loathing psychological disorder?! Obama promised to cut the national debt in half, or his would be a "one term proposition". Instead, he has DOUBLED THE NATIONAL DEBT! 5 TRILLION DOLLARS ADDITIONAL DEBT!!! How has this helped? It has made things far worse! He dis-respects Israel at every turn! He has broken almost every campaign promise he ever made! Obama is an existential threat to the USA and Israel.

As someone who is Jewish and American, I believe that a big part of the problem in regards to the welfare of Israel and its plight with the Arabs is the fault of American Jewry. Our priorities are way off track and quite frankly disgraceful. We should not be supporting a President who has done everything in his power to weaken Israel. Nor should we support a political party who has turned their back on Israel. The Democrats of today are a far cry from the Democrats during the Progressive era. Times have changed and we must understand this shift in political philosophy. I am an independent and don't agree with everything in the Republicans platform. I am pro-choice, I believe we have a responsibility to the environment, and that government plays a role in the welfare of its people. But, there is an issue that trumps all of these and that is the welfare of Israel, and that's why I will be voting for Romney. I simply cannot vote for someone who has proven time and again that his alliance lies with the Arabs and it behooves the Jewish American electorate to do the same.

"...what is good for America." Really? What I've seen is a President who is apparently determined to destroy our economy at ever turn. Thanks for rejecting the Keystone Pipeline. Thanks for driving our offshore oil industry to Brazil. Thanks for overseeing two reductions in our credit rating. Thanks for gutting welfare. Of course if you mean "good for America" to mean tearing down American bring it closer to the rest of the world then, hell, yeah, he's doing a knock-up job.

Clearly you've missed the record setting monthly deficits, the National Debt passing $16T. Just the fact that can say "Obama is not bankrupting the US government" should make everyone doubt everything you say. To make such an obviously wrong statement you are either a pathological liar or are ignorant of the facts to such a degree you are a danger to yourself and those around you.
105. Voting
Jan ,   Amsterdam,Holland   (09.17.12)
We just had elections and 75% vote a socialist party, so those Dutch are as stupid in my eyes, just thinking of getting money from those who work untill the economy collapses. Socialists are political zombies, suffer brain damage.

Since BHO is throwing Israel under the bus, it's apparent, that to 70% of US Jews, America's destruction trumps Israel's survival.
107. Jews for Obama?
Dr of Many Things ,   Amelia Island, USA   (09.17.12)
The Jewish vote has gone conservative in district after district since 2008. In Florida a black ex-military retiree beat a Jewish candidate named Klein in Palm Beach County, despite the polls to the contrary. The same thing happened in New Jersey and New York. Polls are one thing, actual votes are another. Perhaps some SAY they are for Obama, but will go for Romney in the secrecy of the voting booth. Why any Jewish voter of any means would support this adminstration is a mystery. Obama is a huge mistake for us all. It is so terribly sad that our first black president turned out to be one of our worst presidents of all time. Weak, indecisive, untruthful, and surrounded by radicals his entire life, Obama simply has a warped world-view. His only strength is his oration, speaking the words of others from a teleprompter. Even all that speechifying has worn us quite thin. ABO 2012.
108. Why Jews vote Democratic
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (09.17.12)
One of the things that I have observed during my 82 years of being Jewish, is that many Jews consider that it is their religious duty to vote Democratic. How, and why did this happen? The reasons most often expressed to me over the years are: 1. The belief that FDR, and therefore, the Democrats, acted to save the Jews in WWII. This is actually a myth. The subject of action specifically to save the Jews was raised to FDR a number of times, and he declined, each time. A relatively small number of Jews were saved, but it wasn’t because of FDR or the US government. FDR even refused requests to bomb the railroad tracks leading to the death camps. 2. The attractiveness of socialism, popular among Democrats, to Jews. Jews had been denied the right to own property in European countries for many years, and so, the idea of everyone sharing in the ownership of property was appealing. However, American Jews don’t seem have noticed that the treatment of Jews in socialist countries has been uniformly horrible. 3. The Republican Party was viewed as a Christian organization, by Jews who had become accustomed to seeing "No Jews Allowed" signs on clubs and organizations. This has, of course, changed, and those signs have long since been gone. I don't know if there is a specific Christian opinion of Jews today, but I do know what the Christian opinion of Israel is: the Christian Right, generally Republican, is the staunchest supporter of Israel in the US, and the Christian Left, generally Democratic, is one of the more dedicated opponents of Israel in the US. 4. The welfare state orientation of the Democrats appealed to the Jewish teaching to be generous to the needy. This, in my opinion, remains the major reason for the Jewish attraction to the Democrats. The requirement to be charitable is deeply ingrained in the Jewish faith. I doubt that Obama's antipathy toward Israel and deference to the Muslim countries will deter many Jewish votes. As I indicated, many Jews consider that it is their religious duty to vote Democratic, and it would take a very major event to change that. Like a Holocaust. The Holocaust still sears the memories of older Jews, whose numbers are declining with the passage of time, but younger Jews today favor “One World”, oblivious to the fact that that “One World” doesn’t like Jews. They ignore the rampant anti-Semitism on the campuses of American universities, and join in the anti-Israel rhetoric. However, if Iranian missiles were to rain down on Tel Aviv and Haifa, then, perhaps, Jewish voters might change their preference to someone who might have done something to prevent that, or, who at least would not have interfered with Israel’s efforts to prevent it. Jews either failed or refused to face up to the fact of the oncoming Holocaust, which cost half of the world's Jews their lives. But, they wrung their hands and cried after the Holocaust had occurred. Today, another Holocaust, the destruction of Israel, is threatened. Jews can either face up to that, and act to prevent it, or they can prepare to wring their hands and cry.

The picture of Obama in a yarmalke is completely inappropriate. Also I doubt that Mr. Netanyahoo would vote for him if he were allowed to vote.
110. Jew support Obama ?
Ceekay ,   Sydney Australia   (10.11.12)
Wake up to yourselves Obama is the Modern Haiman of Israel .After another 4 Obama years you may no longer have an Israel .Just come back from the USA and found American Jews delightful people , but so naive and ready to hand over Israel to the Arabs for the sake of an imaginary peace .The same Arab have one desire only and it is to kill every Jew in Israel and eventually all over the world regardless where you seek refuge . The quran even teaches them to perjure themselves to achieve their end result ,and you beloved Barrack Obama is one of them . Shame to all Jews who vote for him in these times when Israel existence is at stake .
