1. Why are some people so dense?
Henry from New York ,   Under the Tuscan Dawn   (09.16.12)
Why is it they always blame Israel in these papers for everything that goes wrong? Do they care about helping their people or only fanning the flames of hatred? Kudos to Alghad as it was the only paper shown to highlight the stupidity of getting violent over a film when there are much greater injustices going on right now. I love all the Arabs and Muslims I know. However, any love I feel for the ignorant peasant on the street in these countries is slipping away. I am starting to feel that those people deserve everything they get.
2. arab spring
paulo ,   brasil   (09.16.12)
nothing good to expect from these guys... this is what their educated press is able to create. they built their own reality...
3. Like fish on a hook they will come...
Daniel ,   America   (09.16.12)
Anybody still wonder why God said he would come Himself and fight for Israel against the whole world?
4. cartoons
DavidR ,   USA   (09.16.12)
What is this non-sense? Why aren't we rioting?
5. the issue isn't really the movie the
Barney ,   USA   (09.16.12)
issue is radical islam. they offend but refuse to be offended. not a bad deal if you can get it. a curse on modern civilization. sooner or later every modern country will be forced to deal with them from strength.
6. Funny,didnt see any Muslim protests at Egyptian embassies...
Tevye ,   chelm   (09.16.12)
Since the producer of the movie was an Egyptian....
7. ploy to present Muslims as terrorists
mat ,   uk   (09.16.12)
this popular Egyptian Facebook group should ask themselves who are the terrorists which blow themselves and in arab countries they blame every one but their own
8. it's not racism when they do it.
(09.16.12)
9. I'm so insulted
David ,   Israel   (09.16.12)
I dont care if they want to blame us and say we conspire against the Arab world as they usually do.. But atleast spare us some dignity by attaching us wicked conspiring Jews to such a poorly acted, scripted and produced film ! Especially when we have such talented directors like Woody Allen and Spielberg in our midst!
10. Lighting a cigar with hatered
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.16.12)
What is "hatered"? It's times like this when I really wonder why I have to scrape by on minimum wage when someone is getting paid to edit this online news service; someone who knows not the language nor the rules or journalistic standards.
11. Another caricature showing a clapboard...
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.16.12)
"Clapboard" Classic, freaking classic! FYI: Can you tell us what the bearded Jew is screaming? It says "Action" in Arabic letters.
12. I have my freedom of speech. This is western culture.
Alex   (09.16.12)
Have it or live in a caves .
13. Let's call things by their names:
Simon   (09.16.12)
the caricature doesn't "blame Israel" - it blames the Jews, which is evident from it being a most typical antisemitic caricature.
14. Incendiary film
MIS ,   Denver USA   (09.16.12)
I continue to be surprised by the amount of attention being paid to the putative film, rather than the completely uncivilized behavior of the rioters. Do we excuse other groups for abominable behavior because they feel insulted or slighted? Further, it is clear that most of us--and most of the rioters--have never even seen any part of the film, just heard about it being reported. The mere existence of the film in the world is what has caused the outrange. Just as the mere existence in the world of Israel is seen as an insult and provokes rage in the same uncivilized people. Until this fundamental problem is addressed--within the Islamic community--the chance for peace with Israel is nonexistent. Please focus on the behavior--not the pretext for it.
15. Anti jewish cartoons
Istvan ,   BUDAPEST HUNGARY   (09.16.12)
The only way to fight against them, are excellent anti muslim caricatures. There is in the Arutz News a genial zionist cartoonist Gordon, why are not his works in your website ?
16. Ok, I'm insulted now
A ,   Belgium   (09.16.12)
Think I'll go paint a mosque in pigs blood or something..
17. Ya know it would not surprise me
Galut ia ,   Selah   (09.16.12)
because the individual responsible for this film was convicted of credit card fraud ...its not a stretch that his services could have been bought by radical Islamic interest to produce this poorly put together video clip ... yes a theory,,,but just as possible as other stories being thrown around...we may all be surprised when the dust settles on this..
18. Cartoons
NYC Girl   (09.16.12)
Isn't it interesting that whenever the Arabs and Iranians create these hideous cartoons, they always seem to use the same stereotypical images of Jews that the Nazis used. But i their venomous hatred is only reserved for Zionists.....why don't they use images of Israeli soldiers instead? After all, isn't it the ultra-religious fanatics from Naturei Karta who are Ahmadinejad's best friends?
19. Get offended by a cheap film but can promote antisemitism
Avi   (09.16.12)
Hypocrisy, but what's left to expect from them?
20. Take the Guardian to justice
Lou ,   Bucharest, Romania   (09.16.12)
for spreading such "news" - that the author of the poor excuse of a film was Israeli. The Guardian is more irresponsible than the third hand media in Arab world.
21. The real Anti Muslimism and Anti semitism
Tomi Budapest ,   Hungary   (09.16.12)
Riots every day becuse of hurt and offended feelings... What about cartoons, books ,articles and films made and published in Muslim countries ,depicting the Jews as animals( regularly APES) who deserve to be killed. Anyone riots ? Anyone protests? This very serious antisemitic practise ( with state sponsored finantial support )has been carried on for decades without any consequence.
