1. Russian people are most pro-israel
David ,   USA   (09.19.12)
Majority of European nations are anti-Israel. However, among Russian people, Israel has a high approval rating of 50 percent. Among other countries it is in the 30's
2. Disagree; Russians are most Anti-semitic
Mike ,   Baltimore   (09.19.12)
3. EDUCATING THE MASSES WILL NOT CURE HATRED OF JEWS
ZIMBI ,   NJUSA   (09.19.12)
4. Euro-Muslims
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (09.19.12)
He mentions the key point only in passing. Wherever there are large numbers of Euro-Muslims there seem to be problems. Issues like circumcision and so-called 'ritual slaughter' of animals were not issues when done by highly skilled Jewish Mohelim and Shochtim. Only when Muslims did dangerous circumcisions and botched slaughter of animals did legislation seem required.
5. There is very little anti-semitism in Czech Rep.
David ,   Prague, Czech   (09.19.12)
As a Czech Jew I must say that Czech people are tolerant and even proud of their Jewish heritage. You won't find this anywhere else in the world. You can't expect them to follow halachic rules which even most local Jews do not follow. They are also open to discussion on this topic.
6. Eastern Europe
Wally ,   New jersey, US   (09.20.12)
Ynetnews, if you think that Poland is in "Eastern" Europe, please google it. We no longer have communism in Europe and Europe in no longer divided between East and West. Prior to WW II Poland's borders were more to the East and that is why it was then considered as Central-East European country. Today, being further West it is known as Central Europe and so is Germany. Greece is further East then Poland but you wouldn't call it Eastern Europe, would you?
7. No outcry when jew destroy and scatter a Moslem cemetary in
(09.19.12)
Al Quds to build a jewish museum. Maybe the jews should ask why are they disliked?
8. Hypocrisy
Daniel   (09.20.12)
Israel wiped 400 Arab villages off the map, and Israelis today live in homes that Palestinians built. This hand-wringing over the fact that people are living in what was once a Jewish area in Czechoslovakia is hypocritical at best.
9. #8 Hypocrisy Nah!
ltrail ,   United States   (09.20.12)
What you state is very subjective. If you are speaking of areas in Judea and Samaria, the State of Israel, the nation being attacked, won six wars against huge Arab foe army. The so-called palestinians that used to own those homes fled to Jordan to aid and support the enemy of Israel. They lost, big time. Good riddance, I say. So, Daniel, if that is your real name, what is you national heritage?
10. well
Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (09.20.12)
Yochanan Visser. You actually dare to publish an article? Yochanan, you have made one great misstake. You have published the following article in Dutch: '''the chosen people have to be perfect''. I read it. And the intentional discrepanties compared to your English article in Dutch are glaring and wholly intentional. I read it next to the original, in Dutch. I am of the persuasion that Israel should, for it's safety annex Judea and Samaria, but I do not stand for academic fraud. Are you off the hook yet? I cannot imagine that you were not sued for libel. Your coppying and pasting in this article (does selective quoting ring a bell?) is an insult to the Diaspora and history. For Dutch speaking people: I will be happy to provide you with the comparison.
11. @7 Your brother, Mufti Al Husseini DECONSECRATED the cemetry
PETER SM ,   MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA   (09.20.12)
Brother Al Husseini the Nazi who recruited the Moslem SS &who organised pogroms including Hebron
12. palestinians are the new stars of UNESCO
zionist forever   (09.20.12)
They have been pushing UNESCO to protect just about every Jewish religious site but classify is as a Muslim site. The most recent example is UNESCO have formerly declared Rachel's Tomb to be a mosque. Since when did Rachel ( wife of Jacob ) become a Muslim figure and if she is not a Muslim figure then why has her tomb been declared to be a mosque? UNESCO love palestinians and palestinians love declaring Jewish sites to be Muslim ones.
