1. terror attack
MR   (09.18.12)
This is so nice. Maybe it was an accident?
2. They don't know who did it
Matt   (09.18.12)
It could be Iran for all they know, people assume that the Ambassador was the target, more likely the CIA. It is a lawless place you can pay money to have people killed, without showing your hand. When you get to close like Khost people die, the CIA deal will all sort of undesirables. Generally the last person or group they were working on would be involved in some way.
3. whaaat?
lola ,   australia   (09.18.12)

4. What???????
Ariel ,   US   (09.18.12)
Attacking US Embassy ,brutally torturing American ambassador to death and killing Embassy personnel is NOT and act of terror? Then what is it? What planet do these US Foreign Service politically-correct flunkies live? What planet does US president lives?
5. More Disinformation From the State Department
Ross Gallen ,   Henderson, USA   (09.18.12)
More disinformation from Susan Rice and her minions. It's time for straight talk and recognition of a terrorist act. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, you better believe it is a duck. The Obama Administration wants to engage in a fairy tale story as a coverup to its lousy foreign policy. It is time for the State Department to come clean.
6. It's funny
Samuel ,   Australia   (09.18.12)
How quickly Israel is to point the finger and jump to conlusions when Israelis are hurt or killed, but act cautiously in times like these.
7. They Will Never Admit It.
Dan ,   USA   (09.18.12)
When Israel is attacked by Iran, the state department spokesperson will say the same thing. In fact if America is attacked again Obama and his administration will not admit it was a terrorist plot.
8. not much surprises me
alsky ,   toronto   (09.18.12)
from the whitehouse. Obama and his team have learned a lot from their Musl!im hosts. The appeaser is the one who feeds the Crockodile first hoping to be eaten last ! Shame on Obama !

12. Obama Administration Officials
Mike L. ,   USA   (09.18.12)

13. Wasn't an act of terror?
Stephen in New York   (09.18.12)
If we are unable to honestly name and define the problem, how can we confront it?
14. The truth is...
Rick ,   USA   (09.18.12)
This was definitely a man made disaster caused by global warming.
15. Under Hillary...
Rick ,   USA   (09.18.12)
The US state department has turned into the Pravda of Foggy Bottom.
16. US intelligence becoming an oxymoron
Guy ,   KC, USA   (09.18.12)
It's unnerving to hear the CIA and a trove of unnamed official sources remarking about how the US somehow has better data on Libya than do the Libyans. They US intelligence community can't even be troubled to check Youtube these days, or read Zawahirii's latest statements; and clearly, the State Department failed to train RSOs and Marines to avoid classic ambushes. The Obama Administration is willfully, studiously crafting every hairbrained excuse it can think of to avoid crediting AQIM with a major attack that would highlight the failure of US foreign policy toward Arab countries during and after the so-called Spring. An analogy could be drawn to Bush 43's head-in-the-sand handling of pre-9/11 intelligence.
17. Bambi has removed "Islamic terrorism" from all official docu
ab   (09.18.12)

19. State Department Response
Galit ,   Israel , TLV   (09.18.12)
Oh yeah, sure , not act of terror , just a friendly joke! Wounded lion not even capable of giving a frightening roar only welcomes smaller predators smelling blood to attack again and again until they get him.
20. Naaaah!No way is this terror.Remember its Election Season
Alan ,   SA   (09.18.12)
21. Can the US get any more weak?
David ,   Israel   (09.18.12)
It's an insult to the embassy workers and their families that they are willing to be so "politically correct" in the murders of their servicemen as means of avoiding insult! Rioting mob or planned attack - terrorists are terrorists!
22. Poor Hilary
Madeleine ,   Rehovot Israel   (09.18.12)
Id it'[s officially labelled and act of terror, then Hilary might actually have to authorise on some response, and since she is up there in la-la land believing that America has liberated Libya, she would have to admit that it's anything but liberated. Obama and co are stillsticking to the Arab Spring concept. Maybe they'll decide it was an accident.
23. if it looks like a duck&smells like a duck&swims like a duck
Galut ia ,   Selah   (09.18.12)
....its a duck.... this has all the ear marks of a terrorist attack ... investigations are designed to keep from cementing it in stone before the election ....
24. Too soon, eh?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.18.12)
So, when does the current administration think it will be soon enough? The twelfth of never? As long as there's a eunuch occupying the Oval Office, yeah probably.
25. #22, Yes it's an accident happening by chance on 9/11
Yossef   (09.18.12)
26. despicable..pathetic..lame..disgusting
