1. no wonder the arabs are protesting this
(09.21.12)
it is about time that the arab lies of refugees being only arabs and muslims dies in the un. instead, jewish refugees persecuted for centuries in all muslim lands need their voices heard once and for all. not to mention that the properties, monetary values and businesses they left behind were never compensated and neither were the multitudes of poor defensless jews that qwere murdered by islamic mobs in all arab countries resulting in jews fleeing with only the shirt on their back. while israel upon its birth absorbed all these unfortunates and gave them a second chance at a free and persecution free life, the arab nations interned all palestinian and arab refugees in vile deplorable concentration camps in every arab land where they still live today in the very same conditions as the past 64 years. shame on arabs who profess to be pro palestinians. if they were, those unfortunate refugees would have been long absorbed, given jobs, citizenship and been part of the arab society from whence they originated in the first place. but, no! the arabs use and abuse the palestinians as cannon fodder against israel for over 64 years now. they are not allowed schooling and education, not allowed to work in the professions, not allowed citizenship, not allowed free medical care, not allowed to live outside refugee camps, etc... shame on you arabs. shame! you only love your palestinians as long as they do the dirty deeds for you; namely terrorism against israel and killing as many jews here and abroad with impunity, with your encouragement and with your financial aid. shame on muslims in general. and i say this as a humanitarian muslim myself who knows the truth of this conflict. i am not ashamed to admit arab faults when they so rightly deserve to be blamed. hameed aboughaze, iranian
2. Ploy to stop Arab right of return, stop war reparations
Steven Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (09.21.12)
...to be paid by Israel, for confiscation of 8,000 square miles of Palestinian land on Mediterranean coast, worth trillions.
3. #1 Very Well Said
(09.21.12)
Articulate And To The Point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shabbat Shalom/Baruch Ha Shem
4. To Steven Benassi
daniela   (09.21.12)
i am one of thos ewas expelled from Egypt, having been born there as well as my father and mother. In november 1956, tNasser troops came to our house (OUR HOUSE; and not any other egiptian house) arrested my father and other men that were celebrating my birthday and held them incomunicado for 2 weeks. The only option the governement gave for his release and his friend release was: leave Egypt with 2 suitcases per family. No money, no jewelry, nothing of value. Our case is one in the hundreds of thousands of cases like that. The only difference MR Benassi, is that we did not go and cry to the world that we were thrown out of the country were we and our fathers were born. We did not went on living from donations from the UN. We redid our lives, became productive in other countries. we redid our lives..that is why, maybe you did not heard the world refugees from our side. Not because we did not loose everything we had, but because we decided to take charge of our lives. That is the great difference between us and all those who after 60 years still are waiting for someone to fix their lives. SHABAT SHALOM!
5. Refugees? Ok we will take them back
Son of Muhammed ,   Mecca, Saudia Arabia   (09.21.12)
They can come back anytime! they lived in arab and moslem world for 2000 yrs and we were the kindest of all to them compared to what they got in christian countries, many became rich and powerful in moslem world. Most were mislead by ashkenazi zionists (who are not true jews but Zhazar tribes) who brought them to the " promised land" only to find themselves in big tents in the desert and to have their jewish traditions insulted by the Godless leftist zionists. Many of their elders realised they were fooled and wanted to go back but were forced to stay in poverty, disease and humiliation, In return, we will send all the palestinian refugees back. Arab league can make a deal over this exchange of peoples tomorrow if u wish.
6. #2 Benassi: 8000 sq mi of "Palestinian land"
Carl ,   USA   (09.21.12)
So you believe that all of Israel inside the '67 armistice lines is "Palestinian land"? You are quite the historical revisionist! How about addressing the point of this article that MORE Jewish refugees were forced out of their homes in Arab countries where they lived for many centuries than the sum total of all your Palestinians? And don't forget that your Pals were granted "refugee" status in perpetuity for having lived there a mere 2 years.
7. And the ARAB theft of five times that...
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (09.21.12)
Means nothing to you? FACT: Jewish-owned land in Arab countries totalled more than five times the total area of Israel, the West Bank and Gaza altogether. This land was confiscated by those same Arab governments when they expelled their Jewish citizens, many of whom could trace their lineage in situ for more than 1,000 years before the "Prophet Mohammed" was a gleam in his daddy's eye. Go suck an egg.
8. That would never ever work. What is done cannot be undone.
Jo   (09.21.12)
It is a myth of the perfect Jewish and Arab coexistence in the old days, it was never equal. The war of 48 created by the Arab states forever changed everything. Tiny Israel is now home to those refugees, Israelis. It was the Arabs who kept those Arab refugees...refugees all this time. They offered nothing.
9. MASHIAJ COMES!
MASHIAJ   (09.22.12)
10. to #1, how dare you say that!
Melissa ,   San Francisco   (09.22.12)
to say you hope Arabs and Muslims dies is exactly why the world doesn't pay attention to you. an if this were even true which every peace loving activist like myself knowsthere were noJewish refugees until September 21st 2012, Atleast you guys say you fled! thePalestinians didn'thave an option to flee! once again you guys are the victim. Good try tho. I've never in my life heard of Jewish refugees in 1948 and I've lived amongst Palestinian refugees helpingthem. shame on you Israel to make theworld believe that there were Jewish refugees too! Melissa
11. I fully agree
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.22.12)
If there is to be a comprehensive Peace Treaty in the Middle East then all people should have the right to return
12. About Time!
Troy ,   Eugne   (09.22.12)
About time the UN discuss the real middle east refugees. The Jews who unlike the Palestinians were in fact forced from their homes. There is a difference in what the Palestinians did in choosing to relocate. The term for this is Moving. When your forced out of the homes and made to give up everything you own, and can only take the cloths on your back. Like the Jews of the middle east experienced. Than your a refugee.

(09.22.12)
of course arabs have nothing to offer anyone. look at their 21st century present condition and only cry. arabs are uneducated, illiterate, violent, fanatically religious, dirty, backwards and totally our of kilter with any sort of modernity. so, in all, they don't have much to offer except some oil, a camel and lots of sand and terrorism all around.
14. Finally. Long overdue.
leo ,   usa   (09.22.12)
15. Son @ 5, you can have Arabs back to Arabia and Jews will

16. #10
Bob w ,   West Allis, USA   (09.23.12)
Well, then, leave the U.S. and go to live with your brother & sister Muslims, and shut-up. People like you should have been sent to Irak to fight for freedom, and give the Shias a sense of freedom, but no, you, on the other hand, just have a big mouth full of lies and deception against the Jewish People. Go to hell!!! Really, move out of my Country, and the sooner the better. We do not like you a bit!! Booooooooooooooooooo!!! You suck!!! Probably too much....
17. Bengazi at 2

20. mumber 10
Tanya ,   New Zealand   (03.18.13)
Shame on you number 10...shame on you! I live in New Zealand and have known of the Arab Jewish Refugees for a very long time...common knowledge in fact, You are ill informed and dare I say brain washed...yes i dare....because whether you believe it or not it happened...that you refuse to believe this is shear stupidity and quite frankly shows a very immature and ignorant little person, who clearly has no knowledge of why she is even an activist...supposedly. Rivisionists world over would be proud of you...So once again SHAME ON YOU for your ignorance and Racism and Shame on you for even making such a stupid and banal comment. Is it because now it has come to your attention it would derail the reason you are actually protesting? You are just a Jew hater...no more no less and you show your ignorant true colours. Shame on you!!!
