Brotherhood is about people. It is immoral and strictly forbidden by French laws to attack people. This is the reason why in France holocaust deniers go to jail. Denying the holocaust is an insult the the holocaust victims. Debating about a religion is debating about ideas. Everybody should have the right if they want to consider that islam is backward and violent, exactly as nazism is barbaric. The author needs to read a bit more about the French Revolution before making such unqualified statements like: if you make jokes, there is no brotherhood. European enlightenment led to emancipation from the Catholic Curch and all other religions too. We have the right to laugh about Jesus, Moses, and Muhammad w/o being threatened. If you don't get this, I don't wish to be your brother. If you are not able to laugh about yourself and see yourself as the eternal victim of the West (the one you tried to conquer from the outside and now from within), there is a problem. All men/women are equal in their right to say whatever they want. Religious people don't get to decide what people can and can't say. Islam should learn some respect and tolerance for others before its followers bring a catostrophic war upon themselves.

dear yaron, on the pactical bases,your advice seem's logical. but it time for a wake up call of the west. one of the ways to do it is by exposing the muslems(the "arab tipe") as they are,naked!!! ther shuld not be any illusion's about the future relation between the mid east style islum and the west!!! for this reason i am all for what's happens now,it make's evrything clear.

Stop drinking the Muslim kool-aid. Befor the french they were ruled by the Turks who were even worse to them. they were always ruled by someone even before Islam. Muslim grievances are excuses from a society and religion that is very racist towards non-muslims. We have a big problem with Islam and no one seems to want to address it.

France deserves the mess it is in. They looked the other way when immigrants came until now. Now they wake up and it is too late! The immigrants now rule the Country( they pray in the streets of Paris)! It is their way of waking up to tell the Muslims they CAN finally open their mouth and critize them.
