I wasn't there so I can't fully judge but I can tell you this. Here in the army, they spend a lot of time teaching us chatira lamaga (seek out contact). She should have used the machine gun on the vehicle (especially if as she says they were only 70 meters away). Considering the fact that it was reported that she was screaming and that she was found only an hour and a half later, it was obviously a case of fleeing the scene as opposed to a tactical decision. I don't believe in female combat soldiers and this only underscores my point.
