1. Why was google given permission?
Essie HaKohane ,   Florida, USA   (09.25.12)
Isn't this a violation of Israel's national security!
2. #1 you just contradicted yourself
Ed H ,   Toronto, Canada   (09.25.12)
Obviously there is no violation if the state granted Google permission. This is indeed a great way of establishing Jewish settlements as legitimate, legal dwellings.

Calm down! It's not like they were taking pictures of a military base or the settlement defenses. They were just taking pictures of streets in a civilian community.
4. OMG, THE ARAB COUNTRIES FORBID IT, WHY MUST ISRAEL SHOW ALL?
ALBERTO   (09.26.12)
I CANNOT BELIEVE ISRAEL WOULD BE THIS IGNORANT ON THE POTENTIAL DANGERS OF TERRORISTS KNOWING EXACTLY WHERE TO PLOT THEIR NEXT EVIL MOVE VIA GOOGLE STREETVIEW. THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG! SOMEONE, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. T.A. & JERUSALEM WERE BAD ENOUGH! THIS IS DANGEROUS TO THE SAFETY OF ALL JEWS LIVING IN THESE COMMUNITIES!!!! THE ARAB COUNTRIES FORBID THIS IN THEIR TERRITORIES, GEE I WONDER WHY? U CANNOT TELL ME THAT THEY ARE MORE INTELLIGENT THAN ISRAEL'S SECURITY?
5. Let's see them go into the arab settlements...

we all look forward to the lawful annexation of the territories into standard Israel civil jurisdiction. But.... it has not yet happened. The line SHOULD be erased, like it was in Ramat haGolan. That has not yet happened.
