Every single US war game simulation in the Persian Gulf shows US navy and 5th Fleet decimated after a few hours. Some of these simulations cost a quarter of a Billion to run on supercomputers. So I bet the US 5th Fleet don't think it's a joke.

One of my friends was on the Stark when it was hit by an Exocet missile from Iraq. It did not bode well for the crew...when it entered and exited...blowing a huge hole through the crews quarters.that you could drive a massive truck through. The US Navy is being set up, to take on massive casualties from these weapons systems. They would be smart.....to pull most of these ships out of the Gulf. We can shoot down most of Iran's planes within hours...and own the skies. Refueling planes could handle all the planes from the aircraft carriers at a safe distance. Why let an aircraft carrier get destroyed with all the planes on board......by putting such a ship at risk in the gulf??? It makes no sense.

If Iran were to attack any US assets it would be considered a formal decleration of war and which would invite an American response from land, sea and air and that will involve not just destroying nuclear sites but the whole country. I do love the comment about these anti ship missiles being able to sink a warship in 50 seconds. I don't think there is an anti ship missile in the world that can do that, yet the geniuses in Iran have developed one. So they got a clone of the Russian S-200, a UAV that can do everything short of making the tea and some new super missiles. They have some very dangerous toys no doubt but they are trying to have us believes they are a superpower.

It seems that the IRG could establish themselves as a major player in the product development sector. I mean, given the number of new, advanced mil tech systems that are being announced on a more or less weekly basis they must clearly have a development system far superior to anything in the West. regardlkess of the business sector. How does Iran expect the world to believe that the crazy Islamic leaders of Teheran and the outdated and oldfashioned Iranian airforce can "defeat" Israel and/or the USA? 4) How can Iran's leadership claim that Israel is "alien" and "foreign" to the Middle East, when Israel and the Jews are an older nation/civilization than the Persians themselves? Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Babylonians, Assyrians, Egyptians, Hittites, Edomites, Canaanites, Philisteenes, Phoenicians and of course the Israelites themselves spoke in several historical documents of the Israelite people, Israelite/Judean kings, Israelite/Judean cities and the kingdom of Israel and the kingdom of Judah/Yehuda.
