I know Bibi has a difficult decession to make. I would not want to be in his shoes. Many in Amercia support Israel in spite of Obama thoughts. You stated, It's time Israel stood on her own. The Palistinian Authority is a sick joke. They've been handed billions over the years and what do they have to show for it, fat Swiss bank accounts for their corrupt leaders. They are afraid to hold elections because they know they will lose to Hamas. The PA would also be routed by Hamas if not for the IDF. The PA concept and their leader Abbas are imaginary constructs and should be allowed to self destruct. Then the battle lines would be drawn and the enemy solidified.  It would then be crystal clear that Israel has followed the lead of fools and to the end of the road for peace. There will never be peace in the Middle East, there will only be a winner and a loser.  Israel, having allowed itself to be out flanked at nearly every turn must now stand and fight or cease to exits!
