Imagine for a moment that he works as their spy. In this case their action would be very reasonable - to create an impression that he was not associated with them, while giving up nothing of substance. A ministry of disinformation has to substantiate their budgets.

Why is that, I wonder? Do you look like one? And since your posts are always anti-Israel, I wonder what you are doing living in Israel at all.
11. Reminds me when Israeli security forces
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (09.29.12)
subjected a member of the british Ambassadorial team to a strip search on a visited to the Prime Minister's Office. But I presume everyone is in agreement that security comes first, and if the Russians thought the Israelis were armed, they have a duty of care to the people or person they were protecting
12. funny
Sarah B ,   USA/Israel   (09.29.12)
I must admit it is quite ironic. As the previous poster stated security is paramount and the Russians were justified, nay obliged they had suspicions, to carry out a search. Lieberman must accept and respect the Russians right to security.
