Egypt is an enemy and US doesn't send money to enemies. USA aided Egypt to throw out Mubarak, who was a friend to USA and Israel, in order to install a radical who will end up turning Egypt away from freedom, and into a dirty Islamic state, where nobody can live well, unless they are an extremist also. No money should go to those who hate USA and will do everything to have it destroyed. Egypt is like Saudi Arabia, but without oil. USA only deals with Saudi Arabia due to oil, so what reason does it have to give even one cent to Egypt? Those who hate freedom and trample on those who aided them (Arabs are ingrates) deserve nothing. Obama needs to get out of the WH and go back to his home in Kenya, USA will be better without this traitor in its borders. Because most Americans -- whose voices are heard most closely in the United States House of Representatives -- don't give a hoot about the Islamic world, except to note with disapproval and disgust what a violent bunch all of you are.

The House may have been able to block the money for Egypt for the time being. After President Obama's reelection, however, it will be a new ballgame. The President will govern by Executive Order or decree, and money will go where he and he alone wants it to go. Congress will become but a ceremonial, vestigial body. In any event, no rational nation can afford such a highly paid, generally useless debating society.

The US and the West have been supporting and pumping funds into Arab populations for decades, in the form of direct aid, medical and educational cooperation, scholarships, increased Visas to the US, etc. etc. What have they gotten in return? Their citizens in the Middle East targeted and attacked, regular parades with burning flags and chants against us, TV programs vilifying the Western world, etc. etc. So, were you really a friend of the US/West at all? Granted, US Dems are leaning hard towards Socialism but the US governance system still remains intact.
