1. Huge benefits from rejecting evil "peace process".
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.29.12)
For the first time in years, Jordan is sending a diplomat to Israel. This coincides with Jordan's statement that Israel "rejects the peace process". We should have rejected this monstrous evil decades ago. We should never have sat down with "Palestinian" poseurs in the first place. This is our land. Rejecting the "peace process with Palestinians" is one of the best things Israel could do. It would helps us claim our land. It would help us claim our self respect. It would make others respect us more. And on and on and on the benefits go!
2. The Days Of Kings Are Over!
Ross Gallen ,   Henderson, USA   (09.29.12)
There is no place in the modern world for Kings. They are an artificial political construct. Lacking a direct pipeline to God, their words and thoughts are simply animations to keep their subjects oppressed and confused in order to maintain their grip on power. The Jordanian monarchy is not otherwise distinguishable.
3. ♥
Jordanian   (09.29.12)
Jordan ♥ Israel. Israel ♥ Jordan. the Jews ♥ the Palestinians. The Palestinians ♥ The Jews. Spread the ♥ in the land of peace.
4. SHAME!
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (09.29.12)
SHAME on King Abdullah II of Jordan for his act of perfidy against the holy cause of Palestine Liberation!
5. Oh course the little king forgot to mention
A ,   Belgium   (09.29.12)
that "president" Abbas refuses to even consider peace talks without first laying before Israel HIS preconditions, which of course can only be ignored. And if the little king claims PM Netanyahu "rejects the peace process,", why has it taken Jordan 3 years to "honor" Israel with an ambassador? I think the little king has to make some noise to pacify the "palestinians" who are living in THEIR country, and who might be making the little king a bit fearful for his phony "kingdom".. But still, so much B.S. from the mouth of such a little king.
6. #4. You are probably the LAST person
A ,   Belgium   (09.29.12)
to have anything to say about something being holy.
7. #3 Thank you for caring
Logic ,   Israel   (09.29.12)
8. Everyone knows Netanyahu doesn't want peace
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (09.29.12)
Otherwise he would come to the table and stare at the empty chair across from him.
9. It's 2012 n Jordan is ruled by a king? No nukes 4 dictators!
Yaniv ,   Israel   (09.30.12)
10. Peace with Palestinians
Henry ,   Cavite, Philippines   (09.30.12)
People do not examine the root of the problem. Palestinians do not even recognize the existence of Israel and want the whole land for itself. They do not even want to abide by UN resolutions, and they expect Israel to bow down and make peace with them. Is this not plain and simple hypocrisy???
11. double talk here
Yisraeli   (09.30.12)
This puppet king is in a very precarious position. He knows the Brotherhood intends to topple him with a "Jordan Spring" very soon. Hes trying to play both sides of the table and may feel his only safeguard is in fact Israel hence the diplomat. I have got no problem with the Hashemites they are actually a stabilising force in the region but then on the other hand without them the majority there can proclaim their so called palestinian state which in the end is the only solution. The brotherhood taking over Jordan will be of no help to israel rather a possible new front in the next war.

What is so "holy" about the "cause" of the Palestinians? They want the extermination of the Jewish State and its peoples. They refuse to acknowledge the historical connection of Jewish civilization to the Holy Land of Israel. They are continually making up "facts" to establish their own connection to the land of Israel, which is complete non sense.Since the Pals are Arabs, their ancient ties are to Arabia - not Israel. The Pals have tried to destroy evidence of archeological connections to the ancient Jewish communities in Israel and other areas, and tend to portray themselves of having antidated these ancient Jewish communities.
14. His Majesty readying himself for the Brotherhood?
tom ,   tel aviv   (09.30.12)

Miracle Dog ,   Israel   (09.30.12)
The Hashemites ruling over a Pal majority in Jordan can't carry on forever. King is probably worried and as usual Israel is a useful distraction. But the Pals are starting to see Jordan, quite fairly, as their home.
16. Israel doesn't need Jordan...it has plenty of other allies..

Cyndi ,   California...Usa   (10.01.12)
It seems to me that some of you posting comments need to Polish up your manners...insults do not help the peace process either...most of you would not make it as diplomats....finding common ground and respect for others beliefs are the basis for moving forward.....Would you treat Queen Elizabeth that way? Would you tolerate any one speaking to your father that way...come on treat others the way youyourself want to be treated....hopefully respectfully....It is better to work together for the good of all...The world is a much better place that way....
