=Paper Tiger. Total microbe. With only a hiccup by way of answer to Assad and the Kurd's growing muscle.
5. Incredible
john ,   Cambridge, MA   (09.29.12)
I.e., non-believable. What is the incentive for the Russians to cooperate? How were these documents validated? Why did the Syrians not return the pilots given that their message had been sent?
6. Sounds, like a blatant provocation

...the Butcher of Damascus has slaughtered thousands of his own people, what would he care for a couple of Turks?
10. This will give erdogan the opportunity to expand his borders
Essie haKohane ,   Florida USA   (09.29.12)
He has been dying to exert his influence over the Middle East like the Ottoman Empire of old. He is capable of starting war with Syria to expand his caliphate territory.
11. agree with #5
Adam H ,   USA   (09.29.12)
It just does not make sense. Why would they want to fight with Turkey when they have their hands full. I'd be suspicious it's progaganda.
12. If you believe the unsubstantiated claims by a...
Persian CAT   (09.29.12)
propaganda tabloid owned and controlled by the tribal Saudi regime, then I have a ski resort North of Riyadh that I want to sell you. The Saudis are at the end of their rope to get rid of Assad. The Egyptians, Iranians and the Turks have realized they need to SOLVE the Syrian problem. Israel is NOT too excited to see Assad go. The US too. The Saudi are the odd "men" out. This is one more dirty trick to push for war between Turkey and Syria in order to deflect the "Arab Spring" which is in forming stages in Arabia. This dirty trick will NOT work to save the "kingdom" for the Saudi gangsters. That's all folks.
13. #12 Your ILLEGAL regime in tehran

Has Much syrian Blood on their hands, their meddling in a sovereign countries internal affairs Deserve To Be Played Against Them and Be OVERTHROWN!
14. #11
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (09.30.12)
Turkey hosts the "rebel" command, is the staging area for "rebel" forces and is the main supplier for "rebel" weapons. By any measure, Turkey is waging a war, together with Saudi Arabia, against the Alawi Assad. Erdogan can't complain.
15. Syria got Erdogan's tail between his leg,
AM   (09.30.12)
now he can't regain his Ottoman pride. Assad is giving Erdogan nightmare
16. Erdogan and Assad
Leon ,   Longmeadow, MA, USA   (09.30.12)
Erdogan posed as THE Muslim defender of Gaza and poor Hamas against oppresive Israel. He, not any Egyptian or Persian was the main defender of Palestinians, thus the leader of the Islamic world. It is not Israel but fellow Muslim Assad who gives Erdogan his test of moral leadership of fellow nations with Muslim majorities.
17. Funny how little uproar there was after this
David ,   Israel   (09.30.12)
But the Marmara gets itself it's own movie!
18. Ankara knows very well who its enemies are
Ibrahim ,   Turkey   (09.30.12)
Ankara is merely waiting for the right time and conditions. Turkey's Altay tank is entering serial production as we speak, the T-129 Attack helicopters , the Gokturk Recon. Satelites, MILGEM & TF-2000 warships, Intercontinental Ballistic missiles and SOM cruise missiles are also in the pipeline. New Turkish ally regimes are also popping up in the Middle East and Africa. I would actually be suspicious about Turkey's silence in the face of such provocations. Turkey is playing very big and no one knows it.
