1. There we go AGAIN with bb's CHRONIC paranoia, this guy is
Sarah B ,   U.S.A/Israel   (10.02.12)
full of RUBISH this time around.
2. Amir Peretz,Shimon Peres,Ehud Barak
Keren ,   IL-BR   (10.02.12)
These 3 do not combine with the elected Netanyahu and they should not be part of the actual govern. They have expressed public opinions that they shouldn´t and they are acting as they shouldn´t.They are disrespecting the Prime Minister. There is no wonder that the Prime Minister will call for antecipated elections. He has been too polite because the trespassing of limits commited by these 3 clowns has been more than enough!
3. Are the wheels
JPoL   (10.02.12)
coming off the Israeli cart?
4. the pot calling the kettle black.
Joy ,   NJ   (10.02.12)
5. Barak is another Moshe Dayan
Joe Sombrero ,   USA   (10.02.12)
More loyal to Washington and working to stab Israel in the back for personal gain. I would not be surprised If Barak is not working with Obama to overthrow Bibi after all was that not what happened in 2000 when Clinton sent Democratic Party strategist to help in Baraks campaign.
6. I am hardly a Barak fan, but what kind of damage
Eitan ,   TA   (10.03.12)
in addition to what already Bibi created could he have done?
7. Typical dog eat dog Israeli politics..........
Gedalia ,   Jerusalem   (10.03.12)
Meanwhile Bedoins take over the Negev, radical Islamists take over more and more of J&S, East Jerusalem teens destroy Har HaZatim, and Iran keeps building the bomb. What do Israeli politicians do? Nothing. All they have energy to do is fight with each other.
8. Why doesn't Bibi fire Barak?????
This is crazy ,   Jerusalem   (10.03.12)
He does NOTHING but make trouble and hurt Jews. Replace him.
9. # 5 Utter rubbish
Stan ,   Israel   (10.02.12)
You know nothing about Israel.
10. #9 Stan
Joe Sombrero ,   Usa   (10.03.12)
The truth hurts does it not how many wars were you in Israel oviously none I was there in 73
11. Mofaz-another clown!
Keren ,   IL-BR   (10.03.12)
"We need to replace Netanyahu and give the people of Israel hope." G-d,help us! I wish it will appear someone better as an option for the elections, otherwise it is better to keep Netanyahu, with the promisse that he will clean his team and put men and women coordinated with him and commited to Israel. The current heavy crust surrounding power must be removed ,and urgently!
12. If PM believes Barak is undermining
Rachel ,   US   (10.03.12)
him, he should fire him. Simple as that. Don't talk about it, show him the door.
13. #1 Sarah not like you to ignore large facts
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (10.03.12)
The fact the Ehud Barak has just stated that Israel should unilaterally abandon 300,000 Israelis living beyond the green line including East Jerusalem as a way to "jump start" the peace process, should tell you that this man is a political hack willing to sell out his family for his desparate political survival. In addition, the "red line" so called fight has been way overplayed in the media, even though both sides have denied it exists, its not hard to see how an opportunist tinkerbell could come in and conveniently make it go away.
14. ha ha ha ha ha ha
(10.03.12)
thats the Ayatollahs ROFL with laughter in Tehran. Stupid Israeli politicians, Iran will have the bomb with 3 months and nothing they wan do about it .
15. You can't escape but start questioning
David   (10.03.12)
weather Bibi is operating with full deck or something gone south there. The guy just cant stop making friends.
16. So why keep Barak in the government?
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.03.12)
We know Barak is the destructive leftist behind Oslo. Had Arafat accepted Barak's lunatic Oslo offer, and had Israel allowed it to be implemented; Israel would not exist today. Virtually nobody wanted Barak in the government even when he headed Labor. Today Barak heads a party that would be lucky to win a single mandate in an election. So why keep Barak in the government? Over to you, Bibi.
17. So fire the Bast##d!
Isabella1709 ,   Tampa USA   (10.03.12)
Barak has been creating havoc in the government since he was appointed by BIBI. So, Bib, kick his butt out and appoint someone better suited . If you every paid any attention to the will of the people, Barak would be GONE.
18. Makes me crazy
Neal ,   Minneapolis USA   (10.03.12)
I'm only observing from the fleshpots, but one of the things that consistently makes me crazy about Israel is the loose lips and freelance agendas of the members of the government. U.S. Cabinet members don't publicly oppose the adminitration's agenda. If they don't agree, then resign. I realize that coalition governments have factions with their own agendas, but it seems to me that you're either in the government -- which means supporting its policies-- or out of it. Ministers who disagree are to be expected. Ministers speaking in opposition to the prime minister's programs are a phenomenon that may be accecptable to Israelis, but from here in the States the practice looks as bizarre as a hazzan singing "Silent Night."
19. Early elections are economic drain. Should be avoided.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.03.12)
Netanyahu's success has been in keeping this government from falling apart earlier. I hope he can make it happen again and avoid wasting money needed for other projects. But not at the cost of giving in to the religious on the budget. Religious parties' special funds should be taken away in the new budget and if it takes an early election to accomplish that, let it happen. Also, let's hope the religious parties will be poor this time and not be able to pay for airplane tickets of the many voters they always bring from outside of Israel.
20. The top dog knows in a small kennel what is being sniffed.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.03.12)
Your kennel is way too big and out of control, Mr. Top Dog. Take this into account or pass it along to others for the next time around. In California we say: "Small is Beautiful."
21. Bibi is trying to pretend that Barak is to
Stan ,   Israel   (10.03.12)
blame for the idiotic campaign which he himself has carried out over the past year. He has been "crying wolf" that sanctions are not affecting Iran's economy, while the Americans and their European allies have been saying the opposite. Now, Bibi's poodle, Finance Minister Steinitz has admitted that the sanctions are hitting Iran hard.
22. Political opposites but with the same agenda
Josh   (10.03.12)
Barak will always have a place in any Netanyahu coalition - Bibi needs him.
23. barak is a sleazy incompetent loser
bernard ross   (10.03.12)
why does bib keep this loser, there is nothing he ever judged correctly
24. FINALLY
dani   (10.03.12)
can we fire this lousy scumbag already? bogie yaalon for DM and barak can go and live in his penthouse. the amazing thing is that there is truly no word in yiddish for ehud barak. olmert is a schlemiel. barak? can anybody think of one???
25. Then the PM is to balme for having a Viper
DT ,   TA Israel   (10.03.12)
in his Cabinet. Evereyone knew that Barak was only interested in himself
26. #24 yes there is its called a 'nevayla'
Al   (10.03.12)
The fist st think we call knew when Netanyahu invited Barak into his government was that he would turn on him. We knew it from day one. Obama will win re=election. He wants to replace Netanyau with Barak so his will have his little Jew Boy in Israel. Its as simple as day.
27. Who exactly is influencing the elections all for Romney?
miki ,   tamoa   (10.03.12)
28. Barak for Prime Minister
Big Al ,   Zichron Yaacov   (10.03.12)
That's all I have to say
29. In previous Israeli elections the US intervened and, behind
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (10.03.12)
a thin veil tried, and managed, to influence the elections in Israel. One wonders, is Obama's act of interfering in internal Israeli politics is already at play here...??!!
30. Typical Netanyahu
Sara B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (10.03.12)
He has been attacking Obama for the last six months expecting Obama to lose the elections and his former work colleague Romney to win. Even going as far as persuading the people who bankrolled his election to bankroll Romney's election campaign. Now the polling is showing that Obama is a virtual shoe in to the White House, it is Barak's fault that Netanyahu is not friends with Obama, and a threat to call an early election. I bet there is the ghost of Yitzhak Shamir must be tapping Netanyahu on the shoulder. One thing I know about my people is that they believe the Prime Minister's primary role, the one job they put above all others is the preservation of the relationship between the United States and Israel, nothing else matters. No wonder Netanyahu is running around blaming everyone else for his shortcomings and throwing his toys out the pram by threatening to call an early election. He is in the deep doodoo probably up to his neck and breathing through a snorkel.
