Adam ,   London, England   (10.03.12)
to my dear christian friends, our deepest apologies jews and christian zionists stand tall together. amen.
2. We cannot complain if our Synagogues are attacked
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (10.03.12)
If we do not track down those who attack Churches and mosques in the same manner. I can tell you now in London people are starting to shrug their shoulders and compare anti semitic attacks on graves and Synagogues as payback for attacks on Christian and Moslem places of worship. The Israeli authorities have to get a grip, and soon.
3. Gonna be some squalling on this posting
Cameron ,   USA   (10.03.12)
4. what about...
michel ,   Ashkelon   (10.03.12)
the murder of christians in the muslim countries. The silence of the church is the rule. The only critizise the jews.

6. bb will arrest those vandalists, HA HA HA HA HAAAAA
Sarah B ,   U.S.A/Israel   (10.03.12)
7. Churchattacks
Staffan ,   Stockholm   (10.03.12)
Tagging churches comes with a price besides putting Israel in a bag light. They are plain wrong and just as repugnant as attacks on Jewish property abroad.
8. Examine clsely the graffiti and....
Nora Tel Aviv   (10.03.12)
you will find that those hebrew letters were not written by people how to write fluently. Could it be by newcomer Jews to israel? or by Arabs ? Someone is trying to ignite a bomb and they don`y know how to write well in Hebrew.
9. The infantile post at No. 6 is not mine.
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.03.12)
10. all of a sudden they get religion
dennis ,   nj usa   (10.03.12)
These jerks have spent the better part of two millenia killing and persecuting jews. Not, someone spray paints a door of a church, they remember to get upset. Please, Ambassador: remind them of their complicity and silence when millions of jews were being killed in WWII.
11. How dare he!!
tiki ,   belgium   (10.03.12)
Graffity by a few individuals showcase ISRAEL in a negative light"! I havn't heard this Nazi pope telling Arab/Muslim countries that "their whole country showcase a negative light" when Christians are being SLAUGHTERED, raped or abused by fellow Muslim citizens in nearly every Muslim country, nearly every day!
12. Except for some breathing space, WB has been bad for Israel.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.03.12)
Ambassador to Vatican Evrony knows what he is talking about. Those attackers in Jerusalem most likely came from Wast Bank settlements. Negev, Gallil and Ramat Hagolan have more breathing space for Israelis than in the West Bank. Also, separation of populations would be possible, which would prevent the emergence of Price Tag hooligans. Peace loving Israelis need to contend with bad images left behind by Price Tag hooligans, which derive from the West Bank occupation.
13. #2 "People in London are starting to shrug"
Jake   (10.03.12)
You must be referring to Londonistan, which over the years has turned into a Mecca for radical Islamists fleeing from Arab governments who would no longer tolerate their presence. If you seek to draw an equivalence between graffiti and Islamist mobs that murder Western diplomats and burn Western embassies, then you are to be pitied.
14. Despicable act. But the fact remains
Jake   (10.03.12)
Churches prosper and will continue to prosper under Israeli rule. It is under Israeli rule that the tallest church in the Middle East, the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth, was built, by the Israeli state building firm Solel Boneh, no less. It is under Israeli rule that the site of the Last Supper, the Coenaculum, has been restored to Christian worship after 700 years of having been used as a mosque. It is under Islamic rule that no new churches could be built, that no church could be as high as the minarets of nearby mosques, that numerous churches have been destroyed or converted into mosques.
15. Michael in California lectures Israel about breathing space
Jake   (10.03.12)
Hypocrite.
16. #7 Staffan from Stockholm
Jake   (10.03.12)
No group in history has raided and destroyed more Church property, emptied the coffers of more monasteries, and murdered more clergy than the Lutherans. The Lutheran Church even set up the Garden Tomb church to belittle the sanctity of the traditional site of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
17. Judaism is showing its ass to the world

19. Arabs attacking Churches?
Toby   (10.03.12)
Maybe?
20. # 4
GABE   (10.03.12)
TWO WRONGS DOES NOT MAKE THIS RIGHT
21. The Church should know
Paul ,   jerusalem   (10.03.12)
How many innocent villages were attack over the centuries for one Jew blowing their nose in the wrong way.
22. And what light do Muslim attacks on Christians provide?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (10.03.12)
Evrony says those "price tag" attacks on Christian sites "showcase Israel in a negative light". That of course presumes Israeli Jews were responsible. But what of incessant attacks by Muslims within Arab dominated territories? Christians have been driven out of Bethlehem and other once Christian towns by Muslims, out of Iraq and Lebanon by Muslims, out of Egypt by Muslims. What does the Holy See have to say about that? Nothing.
23. To N 14, Jake
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (10.03.12)
You are right, my dear. I went to Israel in November 2010, where I saw several churches, and other sacred places; including Mosques; much protected and respected. The Jewish State has given, to all the world, an excellent exemple. We, true Christians, do endorse and admire it.
24. To N 10, Dennis
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (10.03.12)
Dear Dennis. We, true Christians, do deplore the terrible crimes committed against Jewish people during past times. They represent a shadow and a shame for our churches. But nowadays it is different. Those ignorant priests, bishops and ministers have lost the power. We have to be united in order to build a better world.
25. To: No. 18
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.03.12)
Stupid question; you're not nearly as clever as you seem to think you are. In response, let me put it this way: What, pray tell, is a "vandalist?"
26. #2
Alex   (10.03.12)
Who "we"? You and Al-Qaida?
27. Horrible
Alex   (10.03.12)
The vandalists must me arrested. Although it's getting suspicious, the people behind it must either be so stupid they don't know what it does to Israel's image or maybe that is exactly what they're after and are not rightist extremists at all.
28. Defacing any house of worship is wrong but ..
Arnold ,   Canada   (10.03.12)
I cannot sit here and let some of these posts slip by. If synagogues were only defaced similar as the mosques and churches in retaliation so be it but synagogues are constantly firebombed. Secondly in many Islamic countries their churches are being firebombed yet nothing from the Vatican. The Popoe is afraid to tell it like it is. But against the Jewish people the Pope does not worry to offend. Effffing hypocrite.
29. # 13
Birdi ,   Israel   (10.03.12)
How right you are Jake. This fake Sarah really does'nt know what she is talking about. The English Jews are gravely concerned about the attacks on their synagogues & acts of anti-semitism.
30. #13 Jake
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (10.03.12)
Childish argument. Moslems in the UK account to 3% of the population, in Israel it is 20% your argument doesn't hold water. In fact I'd go as far as saying that it is a pathetic attempt at trying to change the subject away from the Haredi and Hilltop youth who instigate these price tag attacks. As I said the Israeli authorities have to get a handle on this and fast or it will cause irrepairable damage to diaspora Jews such as myself
