1. Romney/Obama Debate
Nira Scherz-Busch ,   Madison, WI USA   (10.04.12)
The CNN timy poll is, as always, completely non-meaningful. While Obama was composed, decisive and inofrmative, Romney lied as only he can. The sarcastic bully smirk on his face showed his true colors.
2. please god!!!
(10.04.12)
if you care. if you listen. if you pity our situation in the usa today and all of obama's disasters both here in our once wonderful country as well as in the flaming middle east, VOTE OBAMA OUT. romney is the guy. romney has a brain not only flowery words. romney is a seasoned politician that is humane and a great businessman. he is the only one that can change the disastrous course this empty suit called obama has brought on us, the usa citizens. please god, oh, hear us out. give this wonderful man, romney, a chance to get our nation back to its rightful place and its once wonderful and beautiful humanity.
3. #2 - Amen to that - Amen
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (10.04.12)
4. Romney probably wouldn't go to war with Iran for Israel
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (10.04.12)
But certainly would be a whole lot friendlier to Israel's cause, and a lot less amicable to the Muslim Brotherhood and Islam in general than the despised Obama.
5. Obama speaks very well...
Anon ,   Johannesburg   (10.04.12)
but only if someone writes the speech for him - and places it strategically that he could read it. Romeny did so well i was surprised... if the other debates go this way Obama might lose this election. Americans want a strong president... not a weak one... Obama has been seen as weak.... only time will tell... but i hope the Americans make the correct decision. Its time for change! after 4 years let someone else lead the free world
6. What record...gay marriage and forced medical care??
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (10.04.12)
Other than that....he hasn't done anything the whole time he has been golfing and traveling. He has been excellent at ignoring everything else going on though. The do nothing president.
7. 4# I wouldn't be to sure about that .
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (10.04.12)
Romney wants to be the President. A job that leads to decisions. Obama just wants a place to live in in Washington D. C. Free room and board......like all his followers.
8. ~1You forgot to mention shining light and halo over his head
Alan ,   SA   (10.04.12)
9. Hello talkbackers - you are better with Obama
kuhl_blitz ,   Doha / Chennai   (10.04.12)
First, Romney is a business man. If some one offers him money (share in profit) he will just grab it, will never think about the moral values. For example, Romney gets elected and then China says it will shift a small manufacturing company to US thereby generating jobs and money and in return, China wants to trade nuclear equipment with Iran. What do you think Romney will do? Of course, he will let China to shift the company and in return give them Iran to trade with. So, instead of Iran developing its own inferior equipment, it will directly buy good-enough quality weapons!!! Remember Romney is biz minded and to garner money, he will do anything.
10. Obam Vs Romney
Moshe of Rockville ,   Rockville,MD USA   (10.04.12)
Romney won! He won because he was prepared to do a wonderful acting job in promoting his agenda .He was more precise, accurate in what he would do as president, and had well practised responses to the much more reflective Obama. Yes, Romney finally awoke to the importance of sharing his ideas with the American public - and that is what will sink him!
11. to # 9. Hello talkbackers - you are better with Obama
Me ,   world   (10.04.12)
Where's is Doha? how old are you? 10 maybe?
12. obamahahahahaha !
(10.04.12)
13. oh for heavens sake.
lola ,   australia   (10.04.12)
a stiff forced contrived and insincere piece of utter tedium by two dreary mediocrities. i wouldnt give either of them the job.
14. #1 Nira
(10.04.12)
Not just CNN poll. EVERY poll that has been taken, CNN, Yahoo, Fox etc shows Obama lost. Sorry but you need to live in the real world. Not a world like Obama's where he gets a Nobel Prize for doing NOTHING and where he has been shielded, protected and praised for NON-performance.
15. Arab Americans support Obama
(10.04.12)
Arab Americans support Obama. They are pushing their anti-Israel agenda through the democrat party. They know the Republicans will not protect their ridiculous demands.
16. #10. Let me guess.
Ram ,   London   (10.04.12)
You are on benefits.
17. @10: You're in Londonistan, Ram, You Have No Say In This
emanon ,   USA   (10.04.12)
18. Hello #9
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (10.04.12)
Remember Romney is biz minded and to garner money, he will do anything. Remember Obama has never run a business or held a real job and to garner votes he will say anything but do nothing.
19. My Apologies. That Was Directed at #16
emanon ,   USA   (10.04.12)
Ram, you're living in Londonistan, so nothing you say matters. This is about an AMERICAN election, so just go away.
20. #1 Where does your refusal of reality come from?
Ehud   (10.04.12)
Whatever one's political opinion (and I am personally left leaning), calling the slow stammer of Obama "composed", and his incoherent repetition of rehearsed and unsubstantiated factoids "informative" is delusional - and won't bring you anywhere. Romney "bullying"? I don't think so, but if - who would want somebody who lets himself being bullied to be commander in chief. If you think Obama won (and as he is an intelligent person, I don't believe for a moment he thinks so himself), your judgement on anything can't be trusted.
21. # 1 Even Chris Matthews, and Bill Maher threw in the towel.
big bad Jew ,   United States   (10.04.12)
keep dreaming. All the liberal press is ashamed by obamanation's 'performance', if you could call it that. CNN was pro obama until the facts supported this now published poll.
22. not going to change squat
jj   (10.04.12)
romney will not win the election. simple. there is no question of it. i dont really care too much about the outcome, though i think romney is somewhat more revolting than obama, so dont think that im engaging in cheerleading. romeny is going down and he decided that himself months ago through his own actions.
23. The 'best man' won...ROMNEY'S OUR NEXT PRESIDENT, YAHOO!!!
Big bad Jew ,   United States   (10.04.12)
now, you see why I became an independent instead of democrat? Adding two and two together, Rev. "G-d damn America" Wright, and the 'arabs for obama', and the "palestinian committee' booing both G-d and Jerusalem as Israel's rightful Capitol, was the first real public exposure of how far left the 'democrats' have become now that the muslim brigades are dominating the DMC. It's like watching the 'wicked witch of the west' dissolve before our eyes.. Sweet.
24. The tide is turning
Maurce ,   Montreal   (10.04.12)
Romney was very presidential in the debate, while Obama looked sad and subdued like someone who had failed. This debate is the beginning of Romney's march towards the Presidency. Mark my words!
25. god save america from obama
miriam ,   israel   (10.04.12)
26. #19 - Emanon
Ram ,   London   (10.04.12)
Have I touched a raw nerve? :-). No one knows better than me that I live in Londonistan. What I fear for is you in the USA following suit. Wise up guys, don't let the USA follow the example of Europe. Don't allow your government to sell your souls to the oil producers who in turn use your money to destroy you. Where is the America of old? Wake up guys! For Heaven's sake!
27. Congrats Gov. M.Romney Last Night YOU HIT IT
(10.04.12)
Out Of The Park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gov. Romney If The Next Debate is about Outside Domestic Policy, Please Throw Up To b.H.o. Face His Lack Of Experiance in his Dismal So-Called Foreign Policy, How He Punked Bibi for the letterman show, His Wasting Time And Money On Faux negoiating with The World's Largest Sponsor Of TERRORISM, Inablity To Lead In The International Forum, Or Lack Of Leadership with the u.n., russia and china, Shipping out Energy Money to foreign countries, the mess he made in libyia, Lying To America About the Cicumstances of Mr. Stevens, Lack Of Action Thus Far, All The Wasting Of Foreign Aid To pakistan, afghanistan, lebanon, eygpt, yemen and iraq!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vote M.Romney/P.Ryan In November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
28. #16
Moshe of Rockville ,   Rockville,MD USA   (10.04.12)
I receive the wonderful benefits of a free market system investment program and a democracy. And you...?
29. Challenger always dominates the first debate, always.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.04.12)
Remember Carter losing it big time to Reagan? And G.W.Bush losing it to Obama in the first debate? The incumbent needs to defend records from the past while the challenger swings with promises of a rosy future. Romney did well yesterday, better perhaps than has been expected while facing a stuttering President. I liked Romney's composure, his charisma, and certainly see him equalizing or even turning around the campaign to his advantage from now on. But it is still a hard uphill battle for Romney. Furthermore, and I am not at all sure Romney will be good for Israel in the long run. In the next debates we will see what Romney and Obama hold for foreign policies of America in the next four years. And we will see whether Romney has what it takes to be the Commander of the US military forces. These are the critical issues for Israel.
30. #21
Moshe of Rockville ,   Rockville,MD USA   (10.04.12)
Even Chris Mathews can be wrong. Romney was forceful and mostly honest in his arguments. Obama was more reflective in his opinions. Romney denied his proposed tax reduction of $5 trillion that he so proudly offered in the past. As the facts come out the voters will have a clearer picture of Romney's delusions, falsifications, misstatements and equivocation and will be buried in the election.
