Arn. ,   Sweden.   (10.04.12)
Netanyahu, it seems, has adopted the Obama administration's position (assuming that the speech was not meant to mislead Iranian and American intelligence agencies) according to which there is no need to strike Iran's nuclear sites before the Islamic Republic approached the new 'red line' – a significant stockpile of enriched uranium. Meanwhile, let the sanctions do their work, Bibi agreed He !, Arn.Sweden,.
2. note:
J.Gedalov ,   Israel   (10.04.12)
"Maybe it was just a bad graphic presentation, as Netanyahu's associates claim." " If his goal was to confuse us, the Israelis, then he has succeeded." reply: and what grpahic you were expexting him to draw to confuse the minds of others? horses?
3. bibi not made for big decisions
milson   (10.04.12)
all know he is a good spokesman. He cannot take a big decision, he is too uncertain. Why would he send eshel to figure out a way with barak who is like bibi- concessions to morsi and paintball guns. Only yaalon, lieberman, and begin can take the decision.
4. Iran and Bibi
Benjamin ,   Greenville   (10.04.12)
Bibi is a blow hard. Why is anyone surprised that he is backing down from Iran
5. No Praise from the Left
Joe ,   Washington DC USA   (10.04.12)
Just goes to show Netanyahu will get no credit from those who hate him regardless of his decisions. If he implies he'd attack Iran, the anti-Bibi commentators are furious, and if he capitulates to Obama's (and their) wishes, they'll excoriate him for that as well.
6. bibi habibi
Sam ,   usa   (10.04.12)
bibi and clint eastwood teaming up for a movie titled, go on, make mine well done
7. TRUST is the issue.......
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. /Israel   (10.04.12)
But it is difficult to praise the prime minister on his zigzagging with regards to the Iranian issue, particularly when we are talking about someone whose entire method of governance is based on zigzagging and can easily change his mind yet again.
8. #5
Michael ,   Haifa   (10.04.12)
Netanyahu does not seek credit. Like any used car salesman, he is just interested in fobbing off the current jalopy on his lot.
9. Netanyahu is correct.
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (10.04.12)
As a loyal friend of Israel, I congratulate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his firm and wise attitude toward Iranian nuclear ambitions. The threat is great, but, without American support, any attack, from the Jewish State, would burn all Middle East and would bring many casualties on Israeli people. I think it is necessary to verify the "red line" of uranium's enrichment, according with Washington. Finally, I don't believe Tehran will have "cujones" (courage) to bomb Israel. The Ayatullahs know, very well, the consequences.
10. Bibi didn't fold on his own
Vlad   (10.04.12)
It was his security cabinet that forced him. The ministers were not willing to allow war with Iran, and some generals even said that a nuclear Iran was better than a war with Iran. Under these circumstances, when his hands were tied by his government, how could he not fold?
11. BIBI'S STANCE WILL CHANGE
BEN JABO (MACHAL ,   ISRAEL   (10.04.12)
just as soon as Romney is elected President IN last night's debate, Obama showed how ignorant he was about America, without his teleprompter he stumbled around for an hour and a half Obama isn't the brains, he's merely a puppet
12. #8, Dunno if you read the news, Mikey
Jake   (10.04.12)
One of the two main targets that the Iranians have been rehearsing an attack on, turns out to be Haifa. Maybe you ought to try rearranging your priorities and take a break from bitching about Netanyahu and Israel 24-7.
13. And what if...
Francisco ,   France   (10.04.12)
Romney wins the US elections? I guess all these things it's just a wind. Actually it lasts for ten years... Just keep talking! Notwithstanding, I am more worried on what's going currently in the WB. It could become really messy very soon...
14. #11 The #1 issue in America is fixing the economy
Jake   (10.04.12)
And that's what Romney's priority will be: the economy. While he is more friendly and supportive towards Netanyahu and Israel, Romney has given no indication he is interested in a war with Iran. America does not want another war. Get it into your head.
15. A great speech would have been Bibi standing up and saying..
Esq62 ,   Israel   (10.04.12)
This is our land. ALL OF IT. NO OCCUPATION. NO ILLEGAL JEWISH SETTLEMENTS and then handing out copies of the Levy Report in Engish which explains WHY this is the TRUTH. Until he does that Israel will grovel to the world.
16. Now that we got that out of the way,
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (10.04.12)
maybe Netanyahu can start doing something positive for the average Israeli - like reducing the taxes, electricity and gasoline prices.

Michael ,   Haifa   (10.04.12)
Thanks for your concern...Ahmediijad is not going to waste his bomb on Haifa
18. Iran war a "straw man" to disguise settlements, occupation
Steven Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (10.05.12)
19. Nr 7.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (10.05.12)
If the PM is to Fool bouth Iranian and US intelligence, He has also to to the same(Zigzagging)with the Israeli public. So - Tactic is the issue ... God bless !. Arn.Sweden.
20. #14 JAKE "ECONOMY-UNEMPLOYMENT
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (10.05.12)
Nobody is asking American to go fo war on war on our behald, we have always done it for ourselves, as needed Look up Osirak & Al Kabir, we knocked out those two site all by our lonseoms
21. #14 you are right but
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (10.05.12)
You are right, but you ignore the damage Obama has done to America in the past four years. The next president, whether Obama or Romney, will not have the luxury to focus on the US economy. He will have to clean Obama's mess and find a way to lower the price of energy. Egypt will collapse, close the Suez canal, and I expect attack Israel. Al-Qaeda will step up attacks on American targets. Saudi Arabia will probably descend into a bloody civil war. Iran will develop nukes. And don't forget the damage Obama has done to American relationship with Russia, China, Pakistan and India.

Still living the delusion of an imaginary chosen people of God in an imaginary promised land - have you ever considered rejoining the real world or will you live in ignorance for ever?
24. #23 ELIASS - If you don't like it
BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRAEL   (10.06.12)
feel free to lump it
25. no war: what is wrong with that?
Piotr Berman ,   State College, USA   (10.06.12)
Iran is a large country and not close to Israel. IDF does not have a very credible "war options". Neither does USA for that matter, as American generals and diplomats have determined. War talk only diverts from practical economic and diplomatic measures that can lead to a solution. If Netanyahu admitted that and Israeli public can rest easy, it is good news.
26. #25 nothing wrong
inconito   (10.07.12)
your comment is probably the most reasonable I've read for weeks on this site. In fact nobody has real military solution to prevent a nuclear Iran, warnings from Robert Gates, and Martin Dempsey are a reminder to everyone: Iran will have the deterrence! periode!
