1. Whatever the improbablilities, the offer must be accepted
Rivkah   (10.05.12)
or the US will fall. The notable horn of Daniel in Scriptures in its final and complete fulfillment shows that the notable horn (US) will break into four nations after Iran is subdued which probably means the US is attacked by China and Russia and a host of other nations. If that outcome and prophecy can be avoided by not going to war with Iran since Iran wants to back off its nuclear program, then the offer must be accepted since there is no other choice but destruction of the USA in the aftermath of a war that subdues Iran.
2. For once the US did the right thing. Such

a plan would have been another ploy to play for more time.
3. Lack of trust
Brad Arnold ,   Mpls, MN, USA   (10.05.12)
I guess this was inevitable. Due to a lack of trust, getting the US to accept a yes is going to be difficult. Maybe it was an insincere offer on Iran's part. Worse, maybe the US has the counter-productive viewpoint that any concessions offered by Iran means they are weak, so instead of accepting them, it just means Iran is weakening their bargaining position by bargaining. If all the US and Israel will accept is Iran's unconditional surrender, then this Gordian knot will never get untied.

Sigh. Iran has absolutely no intention of ending its pursuit of nuclear weapons. All they are interested in achieving is an end to the sanctions which have wrought havoc to their economy and strangled their ability to market their oil. Have you failed to notice the recent unrest in Iran? I guess if it isn't foretold in your "scriptures," it doesn't exist, eh? No, ignoring Iran's phony proposals and tightening the economic noose is part of the way to go, here. The other part is a military strike. Kick 'em while they're down, and they won't get back up. Don't you get it?
5. #1 - You are seriously delusional!

6. Telltale sign the Iranians are really starting to squirm
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (10.05.12)
7. Yes lift the sanctions
Mauricio ,   mountain view, Ca US   (10.05.12)
So then Iran WILL have the funding to create nuclear weapons, and we will have an excuse to wipe their smelly assets of the planet!!
8. Do as we say or else
Cakacaya   (10.05.12)
So, we force the Iranians to do as we say, not as we do. And then, we expect them to be grateful to us for meddling in their affairs. Perhaps we can drag up the Pahlavis and restore the Peacock Throne too. That worked well last time.
9. NEVER USE RELIGIOUS SCRIPTURE FOR FP
Jordan ,   USA   (10.05.12)
Using religion to justify forgein policy is exactly what the Islamistic Nations do. STUPID and has no place in politics.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.05.12)
Are you just as offended by the fact that Iran has meddled in the internal affairs of Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon? Well, the Iranians have. So if someone decides to return the favor .... just the cost of doing business, right? Or does your intellectually-challenged "brain" believe that Iran is above the law? Pray tell why, caka.
12. # 1 making it up as you go along
Tambour ,   Eilat   (10.05.12)
Rivkah shows astounding ignorance of Daniel. Not delusional, just Gaga
13. #8, so what's your proposal?
Robert ,   New Jersey, USA   (10.05.12)
Do as the world did during the runup to World War II? Let the monkey president of Iran, like Hirohito and Hitler, arm up for war while we fiddle and listen to bleeding hearts like you warn about not meddling in their affairs? Fortunately, when we rid ourselves of the Muslim-loving boy president in the White House and replace him with Romney, a true visionary leader with guts and principle, Iran and its threats to annihilate Israel and the US will meet its deserved fate.
14. Excuses ...Excuses
Tim ,   Brighton   (10.05.12)
The problem with that Mr AhMADMANinejad.. Is that he can fool some of the people some of the time But he cant fool ALL his people ALL of the time The finacial disaster thats looming is of HIS REGIMES MAKING. Pure and simples.... Inept management, squandering Irans future for the sake of his nuclear rod, squandering billions on sweeteners to Hezbollah Hamas and any other hangers on, squandering billions on corruption, spending 15% of GDP on arms and worst of all their foreign relations DESIGNED to take Iran into dark isolation and to the brink of war This is no conspiracy....This is AhMAMANinejads LEGACY his PRESENT to the Iranian people...before he retires in quiet comfort. He has mortgaged and sacrificed Irans future for what? This Regime has alot to answer for

17. The G-d Algorithm
Adam Neira ,   Paris, France   (10.05.12)
Google scientists recently discovered that a Rubik's Cube no matter how diabolical its configuration could always be solved in twenty moves. The also realised that if some people wanted to sabotage the solution then they could do it. The proposal mentioned in this article is not the optimal solution to the Iran/West imbroglio.
18. 9 point offer
Enoch ,   Toronto   (10.05.12)
One must be stupid beyond belief even to consider such a plan. There is no such thing a little bit pregnant. If they are willing to stop the program, then stop it fully, and all sanctions would have to be lifted. This is nothing but propaganda.
19. #4 & #8 Iran meddling in other states' affairs.
Robert ,   Australia   (10.06.12)
Are you having a laugh? Jews have meddled in more states' affairs than any other entity since the beginning of time. The latest is Netanyahu's efforts at meddling in US affairs by uttering pro-Romney statements on US TV. That's only the tip of the iceberg.
