Pray tell, how could the Jewish nation with a population of 7 million plus become stronger than the USA with a population of about 310 million? How could a nation with nearly 4000 nuclear weapons be weaker than one with 200-400? How does the US prevent another country from becoming stronger than itself?

We as gentiles would do well to sleep as close as possible to Israel. Her Saviour is ours and He said we would bring her offerings in the kingdom to come. Our security as a nation is linked to Israels security. We need her much more than she needs us.
5. We know about this drone because...
Avi ,   Israel   (10.07.12)
it did not make it. How can we be sure about the number of those that did make it and the damage the caused to our security?
6. is Dimona for power or for deterring?
observer ,   Egypt   (10.07.12)
Dimona is going to retire next year or so. Haven't contributed any power till now, Dimona is certainly after deterring.
7. Max Rust wasn't drone and Soviets knew where
Miron ,   USA   (10.07.12)
he was going before his foot touched pedal of the plane. "Trying to figure out were it"... Pathetic? Unprofessional? Helpless? Unprepared? Undisciplined? Corrupt? Humiliated? All of the above and than some.

Jared ,   Stillwater   (10.07.12)
That drone was flying with no console, probably would have crashed sooner or later. I really do not think the Iranians can run a drone that far away from Tehran
9. Let's review shall we?
Josh ,   Atlanta   (10.07.12)
President Obama will not visit Israel. When the Iranian people attempted an uprising against their regime, he refused to intervene even verbally on behalf of the people. The president has, however, supported each revolution in the region that would produce a more hostile situation for Israel. To say a democratically elected theocracy is less totalitarian than a secular dictatorship is to choose to believe a lie. Not long ago a US drone "malfunctioned," and instead of the malfunction causing the drone to self-destruct, it magically lands itself completely intact in Iran. How convenient. WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP NOW!!! The president hates Israel. You must strike on your own. Good luck. I will be praying. I only wish there was something I could do other than vote against this evil.
10. Hezbollah has drones? Wow.
Nina ,   NYC   (10.07.12)
11. Ya Allah! They entered Israeli airspace?
Israeli 2   (10.07.12)
...ALL the way to Kiryat Arba before it was shot down?????!!!! Wow! Release the DROHOBAS (Drone Homing Bats)
12. Drone over Dimona
Benjamin ,   Greenville   (10.07.12)
Even if it is ascertained that Hamas or Hizbullah controlled the drone Bibi and Barak will sweep it under the carpet. Israel talks tough and that is where it begins and ends.
13. American Drone
Joe Sombrero ,   USA   (10.07.12)
Would be embarrassing if the drone turned out to be American. Would prove Obama is indeed a enemy of Israel.
14. Ducks in a barrel . . .

I bet the pilot didn't even break a sweat. The daily provocation is unacceptable, take the gloves off and kick the foreigners out of YOUR land Israel. Enough is enough already.

In 1993, it was discovered that Israel, for over a decade, had been selling the military technology it obtained from America to China Seven years later, in 2000, Israel was found to be selling the American given AWAC technology to China. Israel is the 8th largest arms exporter in the world. Therefore, it would be reasonable to understand America’s reluctance to give away too much information.
16. What worries . . .
nibor ,   israel   (10.07.12)
is that just now the army is discovering they have advanced capabilities. The Iranians have been threatening a big surprise for some time. Did we think they were bluffing?
17. #1 are you serious?
David ,   Israel   (10.07.12)
18. The next one may well be carrying offensive weaponry.
Alex   (10.07.12)
Looks like Israel does not have a monopoly on violating the air space of any other state with drones.
19. this one already had explosives
observer ,   Egypt   (10.07.12)
why they decided to blow it up over unpopulated area? because not of fear of damage, it certainly would explode in tiny fragments because of the load, but because there would have been many eyewitnesses for those tiny fragments.
20. drone was shot down over istael????
yuval ,   jerusalem   (10.07.12)
How did this drone come so far?why it was not shot down over sea?
21. Does Israel even know
Mike Shore ,   Dallas, USA   (10.07.12)
For a number of years now, Israel has actually been engaged in a proxy war with Iran. Except Iran has a proxy and Israel no longer does. It's time Israel wakes up and understands life will never be peaceful while this proxy war is being waged against them. It's just a matter of time before it will escalate again. Is Israel simply waiting for this to happen according to Iran's schedules and timeframes?
22. It must be a test...
Beary White ,   Norway   (10.07.12)
..from USA. Obama wants to test the alert-/awareness of IDF. If Obama is an islamic follower, then strange unexpected incidents will happen.
23. We must accept a new, sad reality in the M.E...
Avi ,   Israel   (10.07.12)
From now on, the monopoly on violating airspace is no longer ours... Long gone are the days when our IDF could beat several armies in a few days. Today, our leaders stand incompetent in front a small, lightly armed militia. Add Iran to the mix and you can see the difficult situation that our leaders have placed us in. What we need today is a new fresh leadership that is short on empty rhetoric and full of wisdom...

President Obama hasn't visited Iran either your point being?

26. if it was headed for Dimona it wasn't to attack
zionist forever   (10.07.12)
This is most probably Iran testing Israel's air defenses by seeing how far their surveilence drones can reach into Israel and what strategic targets before they are shot down which they know tey will be. Iran knows if they were to use a drone to attack Dimona now then they risked an all out nuclear war with Israel retaliating with nuclear weapons. At the very least the Americans would launch instantlya full scale airstrike on Iran from their airbases & warships because they don't want to risk a nuclear war. If it was Hezbollah then Israel would bomb Lebanon back to the stoneage. without even thinking twice about it. The idea it came from a friendly country is rediculous, what reason would the US or any other western country have to send UAVs into Israel? This was an Iranian made drone designed to test Israeli defenses.
27. Smug west,take note!!!!
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (10.07.12)
Let this be the warning that Europe and the US badly need. Iranian missiles fired from Lebanon,Syria and the Gaza Strip can be aimed ANYWHERE,not just straight at Israel. If Iran can get western missile bases in Lebanon,Syria and the Gaza Strip, the whole of Europe and North Africa will be under threat and held to ransom, even from the current Iranian missiles. Europe and the US are sleep-walking to disaster and should be acting with determination right now or it'll be too late. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv?London   (10.07.12)
Mutually Assured Destruction. Iran are not totally irrational players. Also NATO has set up an anti ballistic missile system to counter the Iranian, and North Korean misile threat. As conventional thinking is that Iran, rather than risk an Israeli/American airstrike is funding North Korea's nuclear weapons programme, and their missile programme come to think of it. We lived under the threat of nuclear armageddon before, we will do it again.

zionist forever   (10.07.12)
There is zero evidence that this was carrying explosives. Other than the fact there would be no logic because if it was and it had killed people then Israel would declare war on Lebanon and the US would be putting their forces on alert in the Gulf ready to attack Iran if they were to get involved. The drone was not shot down not because the IAF were worried about it being shot down over populated areas but because they wanted the thing down as soon as possible and if that had meant shooting it down whilst it was flying over Tel Aviv they would have shot it down over Tel Aviv.
30. #3 Moshe, if we use your methods then
Mike ,   Israel   (10.07.12)
China and India with well over 1 Billion people and a huge nuclear arsonal are much stronger than the USA, is this what you believe? Once you answer this you will have your answers to the questions you posted to #1
