Though you may be right that some may take some extra "pleasure" in pointing out any issues with the Religious, this isn't truly bias.The Haredi or even just the observant are held to a higher behavioral standard. In a very odd and twisted way it is a sign of respect. Just like we are all shocked when a teacher/policeman/minister commits a crime (OK minister not so much a shock anymore) there is a shock value when the Haredi and Religious are found to be human too. This is the same reason we as a nation get singled out whenever we do something wrong. Face it, it is a good thing when we are held to a higher standard!
