1. We Israelis....
Michael ,   Haifa   (10.11.12)
.....turn hypocrisy into a fine cynical art while simultaneously preaching to others
2. Pass a law to prevent this.
jason white ,   afula, israel   (10.11.12)
Use prison sentences as well as heavy fines to punish all those that deal in iranian marble or other products. Also punish those that buy the products for personal use.
3. Trading with Iran
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark   (10.11.12)
I hope that this report will reach the US and that the American will make sure that the amount of the purchase of the Iranian marble will be deducted from the American aid program.
4. Iranian Tile purchased by Israel
David ,   USA   (10.12.12)
The US gives Billions of my tax Dollars to Israel every year for weapons to help protect them from Iran and on top of that we spend billions more to enact sanctions to help Protect Israel from a nuclear Iran , and I find out Israelis are knowingly Purchasing luxury Items such as Iranian Marble for Business and homes and send millions in Dollars to Iran! We have millions of people suffering here in the US with No JOBS and LOSING their HOME not to speak of being able to afford IRAIAN MARBLE TILE in their Homes. OUR Government should stop ALL financial aid both Military and ANY other form to ISREAL right NOW, and let the stick the IRANIAN MARBLE in the air as a SHIELD to protect the from IRANIAn BOMBS! And If OBAMA doesn't shut the FUNDS OFF the you know were to PLACE your VOTE! Signed MAD about my TAX Dollars being WASTED on IRANIAN MARBLE
5. Pistachios too
galilean ,   Israel   (10.12.12)
The delicious pistachio nuts we here in Israel originate from Iran. This is also a product that is being 'laundered' through Turkey!
6. KEEP TILING AND EATING
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (10.12.12)
Only the politicians worry about sanctions.
7. So its business as usual eh!
Arlene ,   haemek   (10.12.12)
Supermarkets have many products "made in Turkey" on their shelves, and usually cheaper than the same Israeli goods. To be honest I see this and put it back. All these importers can get around the law by dealing with the middle man and if you really can investigate you will probably find many more are dealing with Iran, indirectly. Its shameful, yes, but sadly this world is ruled by the big bucks, whether it be Israelis or Americans. I also agree, I would also be mad that my tax $$$'s were going this way. BTW my marble kitchen top is NOT from Iran nor Turkey!!!
8. Cool off
Robert ,   Florida USA   (10.12.12)
My guess is this David is not such a big taxpayer. Too busy worrying about U.S. aid to Israel.
9. I agree with David,
Ameridane ,   Aarhus, Denmark   (10.12.12)
Why should the US help Israel when it knowingly ignores the the rules of importing goods from Iran. Stop ALL commercial relations with Israel until it obeys the rules which were made to HELP Israel- cynics and hypocrites!!!!
10. David @4, marble may actually help. It may be beginning of
leo ,   usa   (10.13.12)
peace process. BTW, American money given to Israel never leaves American shores and go straight back to Americans and US government.
11. To David USA
David ,   Israel   (10.13.12)
While I do agree that it is wrong about Israelis doing business with Iranians, it doesn't mean that we are doing it with the government. Firstly your governments billions in aid is used as a form of stimulus for your country. How? By the fact that it can only be spent on US goods, meaning the money comes back to the USA while improving jobs and businesses. Secondly your government has only Proven to benefit from Irans nuclear ambitions by securing huge military contracts with surrounding countries - 83 billion for 2011 alone. That's basically throwing Israel under a bus so they can soak up as much business as possible before it becomes a problem for the US too. No hard feelings, it's just business right ? The difference is buying limestone isn't going to affect Our existence where the US hesitation to act is.
12. trading and exchanges are the main ennemy of war
Charles ,   jerusalem - Israel   (10.14.12)
Dear Ameridane, God dage, I see that from your cold Aarhus, you understand poorly the complexity of our problem. As long as we keep a contact with Iran, there will not be war. And a few tons of marbles are not material compared to the cash generated by the sales of Oil. Trade is the main ennemy of war.
