1. "refugees" in Israel
PSK ,   New York, NY   (10.10.12)
what international conventions prevents deportation to their home country? Give them a hearing to determine if they have a valid claim for asylum or refugee status. The USA deports people every day.
2. incarcerate?!
ej ,   tlv   (10.10.12)
deport them asap! Why should our taxes be used to provide, food, clothing, and shelter for illegal immigrants?! We are facing a huge deficit, growing debt, and crumbling institution and here we are paying for these vagrants to live for free in our country?!
3. Sudan & South Sudan now have a
Reuven   (10.10.12)
peace treaty. There's no reason for these illegal migrants to still be in Israel.
4. If you don't remove these illegal aliens, how can you deny
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (10.10.12)
the "right of return" of any arab that claims Israel is their homeland. You can also ignore so called "international conventions" as not applying to illegal aliens and send them back. So what if one more group complains about Israel, no big deal.
5. Deport them all immediately. Not one more agarot spent on...
Dror ,   Israel   (10.10.12)
feeding or housing these infiltrators... most of whom are muslims and side with the enemy. Spending money to put them in jail inside Israel while Jews struggle to survive is CRAZY!!!
6. why cant refugees be kept in detention centres
zionist forever   (10.10.12)
South Sudan is safe now even if the north isn't but as these people entered Israel illegaly before the country was divided there is no reason why we can't deport them to the South ( not refugees ) Lets assume that they are all real refugees and so under the Geneva Convention we cannot deport them if their home country is still a dangerous place there is no law that says they can't be incarcerated whilst in Israel The UN does it all the time, they have things called refugee camps. Why cant we keep the refugees in detention centres until their case is dealt with we are talking about humane detention centres not concentration camps. Where is the law that says we must give them homes & jobs in Tel Aviv? Next thing you know these human rights groups will be demanding we give the illegals the right to vote. Deport economic migrants and refugees whose home country is safe to return to and detain refugees who we can't send home yet and if the human rightists don't like it then let them provide them with homes and pay for their keep.
7. Incarcerate Eli Yishai

8. The still unanswered question
Tracy W   (10.10.12)
What do they plan to do with these people when they complete their sentence? a) Send them home? Then why not now? b) Let them stay? Why doesn't the government tell Israelis the truth, that they are just keeping them out of sight temporarily to let them out in small groups with work papers later on? ----- Make a donation and pass the genuine asylum seekers on to the UNHCR. They have refugee camps already set up in Africa. The rest can be assisted to make their way home. This idea of incarcerating them will backfire.
9. Rome Burning
Ron ,   LA   (10.10.12)
As the left ties Israel's hands and all but encourages illegal immigration Jewish Israel will feel the weight of crime, emmigration of Jews degradation of neighborhoods and schools and the cost in general.
10. jobs for Israelis created!
jerry   (10.11.12)
This is creating additional jobs for Israelis! More units and more migrants rounded up!
11. Illegal?
Israelit ,   Israel   (10.11.12)
The word speaks for itself. NOT LEGAL. Anyone infiltrating the country needs to be deported. Israel is a tiny country and doesn't have the space/finances to support illegal infiltrators. In the US, if you're illegal, you get deported, and won't be permitted re-entry into the country for years to come. What's the problem here??
12. Shas is llike Labor:traitors!
Keren ,   IL-BR   (10.11.12)
When one reads Shas´ chapter and reads clearly there that Shas is not against giving up Jewish lands to enemies, one wonders what kind of " religious" party is that. Indeed, the policy of asylum seekers "temporary"detention is stupid ,to say the least, and it is more accurate to say that it is one more trick by the government to make the Israelis stupid, retarded children tutorized by them. If international refugee conventions prohibit Israel from deporting Sudanese and Eritrean asylum seekers,Israel should become detached from such conventions instead of stabing itself in the chest like stupid " martyrs".
