1. The Left Need to Listen to What the PA is Saying
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (10.11.12)
Giving them all of Judea, Samaria & east Jerusalem is not enough. They also want to flood Israel with Arab "refugees" which they know Israel will never accept. Peace was never on their agenda & never will be. The PLO must be deported back to Tunisia so a palestinian leadership interested in peace can arise.
2. Palestinians and Israel
Henry Tobias ,   Maale Adumim, Israel   (10.11.12)
Maybe it's time we forgot about the Palestinians for a while and got on with our own problems. Perhaps they'll realize the world doesn't revolve around them and understand that no peace can be achieved while they reject our right to exist. Anyway who do we negotiate with, the weak Abbas or the terrorists of Hamas. For Israel it's a lose/lose situation.
3. analysts say peace process will take backseat?!? Takes 2
tf ,   herzliya il   (10.11.12)
What process? PA won't even negotiate.
4. As long as the PLO rejects, categorically, Israel's RIGHT to
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (10.11.12)
be, to exist as the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people; and, as long as the PLO rejects, categorically, a peace treaty as the end of the conflict and the end of the all future demands, the PLO or anyone else can expect any changes of thinking among us, Jews, within and without our national state of the Jewish people, Israel.
5. Drifting rudderless
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (10.11.12)
Abbas does not have the stature or resolve to carry a Peace Process forward Its far far easier to drift from one PR party to another and indulge in gimmicks..than get down to a serious Peace Process The trouble is the HE doesnt know what he wants..so how can the rest of us? In the last 12 months Ive heard so may different ideas floated...about Palestinian Self Determination ...some fanciful, some impossible and some good But wheres the debate amongst Palestinians? Dont we have a voice or a say?
6. #1 don't blame the Arabs
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (10.11.12)
The Arabs are not evil, but realize that in the tiny sliver of land there is not enough room for two viable states. Two states will just be a cause for war until one side emerges victorious. Even Mitt Romney said this, and he is no expert on the Middle East. That is why no Arab has ever agreed to a two-state solution, The only people who talk about a "two-state solution" are corrupt or insane.
7. They are a vanquished people
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.11.12)
All this nonsense for years about terms and pre-conditions for negotiations! Exactly who do the ersatz "Palestinians" think they are fooling? They ended up on the losing end of six wars and engaging in seven decades of violence and terror have won the ersatz "Palestinians" no friends and quite a few enemies. The vanquished do not set terms and conditions for anything. The ersatz "Palestinians" seem to be universally seized of some sort of narcissism that actually enlarges them in their own minds. The rest of the world -- except for a few troubled souls permanently lost in the 1980s -- is sick and tired of them. Palestinian intransigence -- and Israeli patience -- has not been lost on the world. Two attempts at blackmail in two years (well -- while last year's counted; this year's doesn't -- thein the difference) has not been lost on the world, either. The map of the Middle East is changing. There is no room on it for the ersatz "Palestinians." It is time for them to pack their trash and move on. I suggest Jordan, where they would constitute a majority.
8. elections
john ,   toronto   (10.11.12)
It is important that PA also gets credibility. If the PA has not submitted budget for the people, they are in the same position.People should be sure foreign powers are not involved in decisions. It will be a new exercise of rights for people. Free people only can be part of Jerusalem.
9. "Palestinians" always complaining
A ,   Belgium   (10.11.12)
They started out with nothing, no "palestinian" state ever in the course of history, and now they are going to end up with nothing, no "palestinian" state ever. Its about time that they realize that all the energy they have over the years devoted to terror, refusal to negotiate, refusal to recognize the State of Israel INCLUDING Judah and Samaria (they can have the gaza cesspool), refusal to develop themselves with the MILLIONS that they recieve yearly from the US, EU and Israel will have gotten them to what they originally started with and what they rightfully deserve...NOTHING.
10. What is peace for Palestinians?
Sam ,   Canada   (10.11.12)
Surely, Palestinians cannot be so stupid as to believe that Israel is just going to hand the country over to them. Or maybe they are. If not then what is peace to the Palestinians?
11. $200,000 per "Palestinian" family to leave forever.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.11.12)
It's time for concrete transfer plans. Co-existing with "Palestinians" has never worked and will never work. This tiny land is ours. Let's work out concrete transfer plans based on about $200,000 per "Palestinian" family to leave forever.
12. Reform Judaism
Yaron ,   Geneva   (10.11.12)
The only People that pay attention to the Fatah announcements and comments. are the KuKu Left in Israel and the American "Liberals". The Israeli People, my People, pay zero attention to Arafat's followers.
13. Never Happen
Ezra ,   San Diego USA   (10.11.12)
There will NEVER be a two-state solution. Eretz Israel will eventually annex Sumeria and Judea, and our home will stay our home. It's just a matter of time; the land belongs to HaShem.
14. Wrong!
DavidR ,   USA   (10.11.12)
At least one thing will change. That would be the Defense Minister, so the palis better behave themselves.
15. While Israeli elections may or may not change anything, one
tom ,   tel aviv   (10.18.12)
thing is certain: Only complete blood transfusion& brain surgery will change anything within Arab population of this planet.
