1. When?
Amichai ,   Huntsville, US   (10.12.12)
The UN will decry the fire on Southern Israel when a person named "Mohammed" is harmed. Please don't bother them with Joseph, Rivka, Ehud, Dovi, Gavriel, etc.
2. Expect??From the corrupt,dysfunctional UN.Its a branch

3. Why go all the way to the UN? Point fingers at home first

Why is it okay that for a decade a million Israeli citizens are under constant rocket attacks, and the government does nothing? Let's not kid ourselves, there's no equality here. It's well known that if a single rocket hits Tel Aviv, Gaza will be flattened. Then what is the difference? Why are we in a reality where it's acceptable for a southern Israeli to be bombarded with rockets, but shelling a gush dan resident would be crossing all red lines? Do central Israelis belong more to the country than southern Israelis? Are they worth more? These are metaphorical questions because they've already been answered by reality and the government's conduct. We know it and the terrorists know it. It's okay to shell the Yanai family in the south because Israel's response will be minor, and half the time it won't hit the news, but Israel won't let them shell the Cohen family in Tel Aviv, because somehow that's less okay. The UN council only responds appropriately depending on the political severity of the situation, and Israel sat the tone for it by unofficially declaring southern Israelis as sub citizens.

understand but didn't Israel break the cease fire. I mean maybe I'm wrong so maybe one of you can explain but didn't Israel break the cease fire by killing someone in Gaza.who acording to Israel was going to do somthing [ offcourse we have to take Israel's word for it they never lie.] But didn't Israel break the cease fire and Hamas or whoever responded with rockets. And didn't Israel just kill some farmer a week or two ago. Also inside Gaza. I mean if someone could explain without all the railing acuzations you know without the Jew hater Antisemetic selfhating Jew Blood Libel etc etc etc. As Joe Friday said just the facts mam
5. the UN doctrine!
tiki ,   belgium   (10.12.12)
Remaining deaf, blind & speechless when it comes to condemn those who are harming Israel or her citizens, but blaiming her for the 'crime' of self defense. The 'three monkeys clones, multiplied in the UN.
6. Scoop! UN is an anti-semitic cabal

Prosor's brazen chutzpah in protesting to the UN about fire coming from the Gaza Strip demands a response. What he did not mention is the fact that the latest escalation started when Israel carried out a "targeted assassination" of two people riding on a motorcycle in the Rafah area. The airstrike that killed the two, injured 11 innocent bystanders, among whom were 5 children. That was the main reason why the Hamas government felt compelled to respond to this blatant Israeli violation of the cease-fire.

Palestinian Gaza has the right to defend itself. When Israel strikes it can expect retaliation. The cycle of violence of this week started with Sunday's assassination attempt from the air in a busy Rafah street.

your history of recent Gaza-Israel fight only begun (as you quoted..) "a week or two ago".... "WOW" must really spell with capital letters! you conveniently whitewash the past 5 years of rockets-raining (since Hamas took over).. guys, have you ever been to Gaza yourself, speaking from a comfortable distance on your leather chair fronted a lap-top, chewing on whatever Pro-Left media-waste, well, i understand how you derive at this conclusion. get yourself a ticket and welcome to stroll thru Siderot, Southern Israel's little towns... then visit your beloved Gaza for a summer holiday to witness the truth..... before this, shu...shu... keep your silence. (least i been there before, guys) WHAT "escalation started when Israel carried out a "targated assassination"... ??? you don't know Rafah area, dukes!
