1. Moshe Yaalon is much more capable
Reuven   (10.13.12)
and quite a bit smarter than Barak. Yaalon should be our defense minister.
2. barak full of merde
marcel   (10.13.12)
barak fights with shteinitz, bibi, olmert, livni, ben eliezer who called barak pathetic, now yaalon. Barak is a devioius failed land general who doesnot have the respect of the idf. He makes concessions, runs away from training accidents and lebanon, equips commando with paintball guns causing them to be torn apart on erdogan's deck. tries to give away the golan and west bank including jerusalem. He is 70. When generals most of them reach that age, they are burnt out and look to make concessions and dollars and that is it. Barak is the one who is pathetic. Ask the 2 soldiers who got publically llynched inr amallah while this jackass did nothing about it at the time. He hits empty buildings in gaza. Zeira, halutz, barak- they are all the same, all the same-useless.
3. Barak's treason
israeli at heart ,   jerusaelm   (10.13.12)
I absolutely agree with Moshe Ya'alon. A new law should be enacted for next elections. Any party with less than 5 mandates, should be disqualified to be part of any coalition and be discredited as a legal party.
4. The season
Michael ,   Haifa   (10.13.12)
This is the season when "dog eats dog"
5. Barak's judgement matches his failures.
DT ,   TA Israel   (10.13.12)
Their have been no sucesses . All being well his political career will be over soon enough and not a minute too soon
6. Bomb Iran and shut up !

7. Both Bibi and Barak lie about Iran
George ,   San Francisco, USA   (10.13.12)
As Yuval Diskin, the former head of Shin Bet has said, both Netanyahu and Barak lie about Iran. Iran not a threat to anyone and has never actually threatened Israel, although Iranian leaders call Israel all kinds of names. On the other hand, Bibi and Barak constantly threaten Iran with their idiotic, "All options are on the table."
8. Barak is on this massive ego trip...about
Arlene ,   Israel   (10.13.12)
time he was taken off the bus! The country is more important and Moshe Yaalon is so right. According to Ehud Barak, he comes first then Israel, so its time for him to retire. There are those that are more abler at the job.

and those mandates (below the minimum threshold) should be given to the party that garners the most mandates!! When, oh when are we going to go to a direct representation voting system?? Or ever get a absolute majority party winning an election again?? Oy vey!!

"Iran not a threat to anyone and has never actually threatened Israel"?!?!?! You need to withdraw your head from your nether orifice, breath and hear what is going on in the world!! Ever heard about Iran calling for Israel to be wiped off the map?? I guess not! And in your vocabulary that is probably not a threat either...
11. #1 question
(10.13.12)
Yaalon is certainly more capable. I don't know about smarter, but certainly his priorities are with and not against Israel. But the question: why did he collaborate with Barak and Netanyahu in the building freeze?
12. #10 - Ariel: Iran is indeed not a threat
George ,   San Francisco, USA   (10.13.12)
Do you really still believe that myth the Iran wants to "wipe out" Israel? It was a mis-translation of a single sentence in 2005. Google for a document called, "Rumor or the Century." Read it and please stop talking nonsense.

In reply to your statement below "and those mandates (below the minimum threshold) should be given to the party that garners the most mandates!! " We need a complete new electoral system. The present system is corrupt and no longer applies to the realities the nation is facing today. The social justice must be taken into account seriously or we shall succumb into a civil war soon.
