34. Here we are at HOME , בבית
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.14.12)
with all the problems , it's OUR HOME here . Regarding problems , i did'nt have any . I had my new ID card four days after going to misrad hapnim . Had opened a bank account some months before my Alyah , during my last visit as a tourist . My inscription at a kuppath cholim was made a day after arriving here . Where are the problems ? I was always received very well , even at the airport where we were the only Olim in our plane . Where in the world can you talk to an other passenger on a bus as you do here ? Where do you have all those helpfull hands for people who need it ? One thing , new Olim , try to know some Hebrew before coming to live here .
35. Right on #5! Who moves to a war zone?
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (10.14.12)
Ok, the US is just a little bit better with that regard. But Israelis need to move to Canada. It's so much better than the US or Israel. Get out of those war zones!
36. #3. More truth and nothing BUT
David Aaron ,   Realistic Israeli   (10.14.12)
You say " two must have good genes as usually people who live in brooklyn/jersey for 20 years at age 40 they look 65." I say people who live in Tel Aviv for 20 years have A pot belly at 40, once they are married, men are generally bald now and the women have put on a two hundred pounds but still attempt to dress like they did 20 years ago, tight clothes over fat, beautiful sight!!. And generally they all smoke, so after the 20 years, that sexy smokers voice is well underway.
37. #34 they only talk to you because they are nosey, can they
Orly   (10.14.12)
pronounce the name Charles?
38. Welcome home...welcome back to your land...
Al   (10.14.12)
My late dad left Israel in 1952 never to return..I was born in Canada, my sons were born in Canada as well. They are back in Israel in the IDF as proud free Jews. The greatest pride I have is of my sons living as proud free Jews in Israel. The only future for the Jew is in Israel.

ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (10.14.12)
to an, in Israel pronounceable name, a Jewish name. Problem solved. Why keep the Galut name?
43. 37 , They have'nt to pronounce my name
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.14.12)
Did you mean "nosy" ? They tell me about their own life too . I'm still in contact with two of them . Abroad you rarely begin to talk to someone in public transport .
44. #43 thats just great for you. I didnt realize bus stations
Orly   (10.14.12)

47. 45 Sabre, it happens that people...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (10.14.12)
are unable to do things they would love to,and advise that to those who can do that . Al means it well.
48. Orly , Have'nt ot Haven't
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.14.12)
You understood what i wanted to say . I had to search "nosey" in my little dictiomnary but found only "nosy" . It are NOT the bus stations , but in the bus , on a longer trip . Nothing to do with "lonely" , it makes the trip less boring too , when you talk to someone . And sometimes it's very interesting .
49. It is amazing that now that many want to leave
Rachel   (10.14.12)
Israelreefers are nice propaganda articles by ״Olim hadashim" that actually are Israelis that return back to Israel. Israel is a difficult country to live in, more difficult than before. A war that you can smell in the air will burst out soon. Regarding Asi, maybe she and her husband separated or will soon divorce. Her children grew up in the US and not Israel. She should have thought about that before leaving. One if her daughters went back and I think that her son too should be let to go back and be in the US.
50. Poor English gives Asi away. Hope for a better Hebrew.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.14.12)
51. 43 Charles,I love when people ..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (10.14.12)
pronounce my name.Don t you?
52. Ora , 51 . Don't monoplise please !
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.14.12)
All depends who and where . When i talk to someone in a bus , we do not exchange our names . It happened only with two people , and i'm still in contact with them . Your 47 . While still abroad i never told people to make Alyah , now i can do it .
53. My mom, Assi
Gal ,   Israel   (10.14.12)
I just read this article and I have to say that this is not a translation that captures the true essence of the original article written in Hebrew. I am the eldest daughter of Assi and as odd as the story sounds, our love of Israel has in fact gone against all logic. The sole reason for this crazy move is in fact our intense, deep love for Israel, the land that has always felt like home. My family and I are hopeful that our love and optimism will unite us very soon in Israel. Thank you for the responses, and I hope that this story can turn cynicism into hope and a positive change!
54. People who live an illusion
Wendall H. ,   Baltimore M.D.   (10.14.12)
People who live an illusion and will never know, have any real peace, with themselves or others.
55. 52 Charles Bus friends fit you best.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (10.14.12)
No time to injure them. I go . From my part you can monopolize the site,in good health. Shavuah Tov.
56. The economic grass is greener in Israel
Tomer ,   Ramat gan   (10.15.12)
Actually America is now a bankrupt & corrupted shadow of what it once was. Their real unemployment rate is 23% & real inflation is around 10%Moreover, The US dollar constitutes a giant ponzi scheme & will soon collapse as the entire rotten edifice crumbles. In contrast, in Israeli economy is improving and will get even better now that the gas is coming. This is the reason so many Israeli Yordim are returning in Droves.
57. #56
mark ,   ca   (10.15.12)
Most of the Israeli economy depends on exports, so don't be so happy about financial problems in US.Anyway US is way better without particular segment of Israelis who return to Israel. The smart ones stay here and doing very well.As a typical Israeli , you are unable to grasp the meaning of it.:-))
58. Real inspiration.......
NS ,   Long Island, NY, USA   (10.15.12)
Good luck to you Asi!!!!!!!!!
59. #53 Gal, Very well said, truthfully. Your mom can be proud.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.15.12)
