1. What a revolting woman!
Gilad ,   Svendborg, Denmark   (10.13.12)
"I told him the world was waiting to see and hear him." How about his FAMILY? Were they not waiting? And did they not have the right to see him before you showed him off as if he was your pet? Are you really so stupid that you STILL don't get it? Do the world a favour and quit your job - try something that doesn't involve interaction with human beings.
2. Either she is ignorant, lying or evil
SNS   (10.13.12)
"Had he said he wouldn't do it, I would not have pressed him." Did she really think that after five years of captivity and isolation someone would have the ability to say "I won't give an interview".?
3. not as it seems
paul ,   jerusalem   (10.13.12)
i sent her a red hot piece of hate mail myself after seething while watching the interview. she responded with a long email about how a lot of the factors of the interview were not her fault. not as evil as i thought.
4. SHe disgusts me
Ilana   (10.13.12)
Evertime I hear about her I feel infuriated. Yes, she did prolong his suffering. She is cruel, horrible and self serving. Shame on her, big time. Huge time!
5. #1 Not more revolting than Sarah B...
Avi ,   Israel   (10.14.12)
6. While she received hate mail from a few Israelis...
William ,   Israel   (10.14.12)
she received applauding emails from Egyptians for the same reason - prolonging Shalit's trauma and belittling him as a human.
7. After All We Are All People
Tim Upham ,   Tum Tum, Wa   (10.14.12)
This Egyptian newswoman is just showing one thing, and one thing only. She is a human being, who enjoyed her meeting with another human being. She is Egyptian, and he is Israeli. When I lived in Egypt, I enjoyed the company of the Egyptians immensely. When I lived in Jerusalem, I enjoyed the company of the Israelis immensely. That is what simply needs to be done, just swallow our stupid nationalistic pride, and just enjoy each other for what we all are: people.
8. She is a war criminal
(10.14.12)
Abusing and exploiting a POW is against the Geneva Conventions
9. She is trying to back track, but it won't work
Jarred Stone ,   London UK   (10.14.12)
This idiotic brainless woman has no compassion, she asked Shalit some of the dumbest questions of someone who's mind was in a very fragile state. How can an idiot like this woman ever be called a journalist..............These Egyptians have very low standards.
10. mutual respect
Noble Eagle ,   Egypt   (10.14.12)
It is as simple as this; if relationships are based on mutual respect as human beings, I think evil will run away among all nationalities, but not all the people are like angles and thats the problem , so we have to come closer as near as we can because we trust in God.
11. Apparently, This is her job ...
A.Q. ,   Jerusalem   (10.14.12)
... a journalist interviewing a freed soldier being captive for years is great opportunity for her career! And giving hugs is not part of her job. She's heavily criticized only for being Arab, period.
12. The shame is shared
Global Citizen ,   Israel & USA   (10.14.12)
by pro-terrorist western media outlets like TIME magazine (owned by the ultimate pro-terrorist corp CNN), who reprinted one of Gilad's coerced quotes out of context, to make it look as though he sided with his captors.
13. sorry excuses for her rotten behavior
Ilana   (10.14.12)
shame on her and those who make excuses for her
14. The definition of a vulture.
