was that Max Brod should destroy all his manuscripts - unread. Among these were also "Der Process/The Trial" and "Das Schloss/The Castle".
Kafka's self-doubt is amazing, but not atypical for a genius like him. Isaac Newton was in this regard a similar character, if it was up to him, he probably would never have published his "Principia" as well.

the trial, pure genious, I might add, he was the ultimate victim, but the first to critisize socialism, what he has described in the trial almost happened to me. bastards
