Why would Iran announce that it had developed second and third generation centrifuges that were superior to anything in the West when in fact they are spinning old, out-of-date centrifuges that were manufactured in the 1970s? Why would Iran announce that it had managed to reverse engineer an ancient Russian missile defense system and build something better in the span of three weeks? Iran announces lots of things. Very little of it is true.

the Iranian regime has been oppressing the muslim sunis for decades. Iranian Sunis and Arabs are not allowed to build mosques. The Arab language is banned in schools and in official use. Persian jews, estimated as 20.000 (nearly half the Israeli Persian-origin jews) have much more privileges; they are allowed to build new synagogues and their children can go to jewish schools. 4 millions are Arab Ahwazi Muslims.

Israel has UAVS based in the Kurdish controlled areas of Iraq so we got them right on Iran's doorstep. Iran & Hezbollah got lucky this time and they want the whole world to know so they can try gain a propaganda victory. If Israel has had managed to infiltrate Iranian airspace with its drones then it wouldn't be telling the whole world to and allow Iran to find out where its weaknesses lie and then fix them making sure there will be no future flyovers.
