My dear neighbor, just because someone criticizes their country it does not mean they hate it or don't deserve to hold its citizenship. In fact, the opposite. Mr. Abu Daabes has made something of himself and is trying to use his experience and capabilities to the benefit of Israeli society as a whole. Arabs, Muslims, but especially Bedouins - as you have mentioned- regularly serve in our army and contribute a great deal to our society but receive little recognition for it, perhaps other than a Price Tag on their mosque (see Tuba in the North) ... why? Because Israeli Jews are fed propaganda about Arabs as a whole not only by the news media, but by our own kind who are afraid of what integration and normalization of relations between us. But, my dear neighbor, you should be both proud and aware that our own neighborhood has a scarce, but present, amount of Arabs as well, including my husband. They live, work, pay bills, raise families and don't complain even though they still face daily discrimination even here. Why? Because they think it won't make a difference.
