61. #19 The royal hypocrite from Dubai
Cynthia ,   USA   (10.21.12)
Abandon the Palestinians and let the west fund this dependent, bottomless pit. With few exceptions, that's the Arab World's track record. You seize any opportunity to criticise Israel. All these people want is an opportunity to justify their existence and write a book about how the big, bad Israelis were mean to them. This PR flop by "activists" will quickly be forgotten.
62. And then you wake up
PB ,   Australia   (10.21.12)
Sometimes it does take a while to work out who the real enemy always was. Its getting clearer by the day now, however.
63. here's an idea..
CL ,   England   (10.21.12)
should have called their bluff and let them through, see what sort of welcome they would have received !
64. Shapira: illegal on its face
Dave Schmäck   (10.22.12)
Those who deal with these issues know that he is not "merely" a traitor, but an even bigger antisemite himself. The facts: just a short few years ago reports elsewhere told us that he defaced the Warsaw ghetto walls with hate graffiti together with a fellow anti-Israel activist Polish-English woman. They were then detained in Warsaw by the Police there. They protested in favor of Gaza. It's clear that their crimes are amount to antisemitism. Remember: comparing Israel to the Nazis is ipso facto antisemitism even by the EU's standard (working definition). We also knew that his mother was the one who constantly instigated and incited her son to hatred of Israel (and subordination as he was a navigator for pilots in pursuit planes in the Israeli Army for a short while) against the expressed wishes of the guy's father. These are all verifiable facts. Censoring this only makes MSM foolish.
65. Stop this madness
Finglish ,   Finland   (10.22.12)
According to the Finnish national public service broadcasting company Yle - the Israeli soldiers did not use tasers or any violence at least towards those two Finnish members. Hopefully those Finns will stick to the truth. So there must be some other reasons than just participating - if someone really got tasered. Overall it is quite hard to trust many of these activists, because everything is so ideologically colored to them. Just remember "the Gaza Freedom Flotilla" about two years ago and these certain Swedish activists, who by the way happened to be on board also this time - and their unbelievable and false claims in the media then. Oh, why can't these activists understand that they should work agaist terrorism by Hamas and other Gaza militants, if they really want peace and better future for the Gazans. By the way, the Swedish Ship to Gaza -organisation just stated that they are gonna sent more ships to Gaza, according to the Finnish Iltalehti. So no end to this madness is in sight - I'am afraid.
66. #9 - have they?
William ,   Israel   (10.22.12)
Tomorrow, this issue will be off everyone's radar, and the UN report claiming the blockade is both legal and justified stands. It doesn't matter if your ilk disagree with it. Now if you can prove Israel did something wrong, bring the proof. When asked, either your lame proof is always thrown from court, or you claim it was taken from you. In the end, you're just selfish children who were out to help no one but yourselves. ...that's why only 1 boat of a handful of people showed up this time. Wahhh!!
67. #19 - as long as the UN claims blockade is legal
William ,   Israel   (10.22.12)
you're wet dream against Israel will never come true. If you can't even come to terms with Intl Law which justifies the blockade and provides Israel the right to enforce it in Intl waters, you'll have a tough time with the rest of reality. Good luck.
68. #28 - because their mommy says it is...
William ,   Israel   (10.22.12)
69. #29 - just because Estelle didn't have weapons
William ,   Israel   (10.22.12)
doesn't mean it had a right to break the blockade. Because a system was in place to accept and transfer goods into Gaza, via Israel, there is no need to break the legal blockade. Same too with the open border between Egypt and Gaza. and once the aged hippies from yesteryear are departed from Israel, the accusation of humiliation and brutality will be voiced though no evidence will be presented.....and threats of law suits will amass as they did in the past, and just like that, they will be rejected by the respective courts....and then this issue will die down once again... with Israel remaining strong...and Gaza in a blockade...and "Palestinians" begging for cash...from a global community who couldn't care less.
70. #30 - after the IDF was attacked brutally, of course
William ,   Israel   (10.22.12)
You may disagree with it but, yes, even the IDF is allowed self-defense, putz. But you did mention one thing correctly. The terrorist entity in Gaza is a result from naively believing that trusting the Arab claims of desiring self-determination in return for peace were genuine, when infact the only genuine remark from Arabs is their racist intentions. So to remedy this, in addition to the blockade the UN has seen as legal and justified, is to clean the terrorist nest out and start again.
71. #45 - only as long as they work for peace...
William ,   Israel   (10.22.12)
and not political-based antagonism. Until your "peace activists" stand up to the other side in this equation, that is - tell Hamas to also stop their attacks and end their illegal war from 2007 against Israeli civilians, they will be considered nothing more than biased provocateurs.
72. #60 taser marks
tallo   (10.22.12)
"you can put the taser impulses to a piece of paper and nothing will happen to the paper " It will leave marks on conductive paper. Skin is conductive and even more so after being at sea. http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/images/news/photos/2008/12/01/north-taser-marks.jpg
73. Given previous episode, thios was tame
GCBG ,   Toronto Canada   (10.22.12)
Considering the violence the IDF has encountered in the past,I'd say theses guys were pretty fortunate. They could have been hit with something much harder,like...bullets. it's not surprising that he complained to mommy though, they are all cowards. let them try something like this in another Middle Eastern country and see what happens. why don't they focus their attention on people who are really suffering? answer- too risky and hard. Go after the soft, easy targets in a democracy instead.
74. the jewish people has to be proud of them
