I spotted the title for this posting, and knew what was coming.

Because both the US and Israel face the same enemies. But if you remove your bias you will realize that countries may have different national interests and sometimes some similar ones. It does not take away from the sovereignty of either country. Your comment smells of bias.

The US canceled their NLOS, the Javelin has not got the distance, it is one arm of the solution, as they get closer to the target. It is a good deal for Israel but there is only one way to deal with the swarming technique. With the Protector was not just the NLOS, that was spoken of, but the ability to deploy throw away drones, that are weapons in themselves, like the Harpy 2 way forward of the vessel, then you put bar armor and the Trophy on it.
