Labor's knows only one path. Appeasement and retreat. Israeli retreat is the root of almost all Israel's worst problems including: our last Lebanon Wars, our Gaza Wars, rockets on our cities, mass terror and on and on...Labor, and it's allies, are the source of almost all that is wrong with Israel.

If we were to believe their foolish speeches, then perhaps their parties would have a chance, but Labor is today in decline. Why? It is out of touch with the reality of Israel and today's Israelis. The Left and the liberal mind set is falling prey to the reality of the Middle East. Only social activism, meaning a need for more low cost housing is top issue for the young, not liberalism or socialism. The economy in Israel is good and security is acceptable, but Shelly does not recognize the reality that Labor today is a second issue party. It has nothing to offer against Bibi only to represent social unrest, which is not the main issue at the election poll.

It really stinks up the place.

Yachmovich claims Labour is the only threat to Bibi, I don't think so. The only real threat to Bibi is Bibi, all the other parties will come knocking at the door for a seat at the table. Yachmovich is just another small two bit player, that will go the same way as her patrion Peretz the Putz when she falls flat on election day

Like her or not, there are two reasons to keep Yahimovich out of power. She was one of the main supporters of Barak when he destroyed the SLA and surrendered Lebanon to Hezbolla/Assad. We are seeing the bitter fruit of this folly today. Her economic beliefs are exactly the ones that destroyed Greece, Italy and Spain and will apparently cause economic collapse (no jobs, no pensions, maybe starvation) in Europe.

You add together the fact she is running on a popularist social justice platform, Kadima is going into meltdown & Yair Lapid is stealing disenfranchised Likud voters Labor had a very good chance at winning the election. Now Bibi & Liberman have merged their parties they should get enough seats to have a comfortable majority. Shelly Y who who is the least qualified leader of the main parties to be PM will be left in the cold along with her pals in Meretz who would have been guaranteed senior cabinet postings if Labor won.
