but the hillsides are empties, as annual rain is cca. 30 mm. I suggest a state project to create the world's first irrigated forest, with desalinated sea water. It would be the wonder of the ME, and arabs will learn who israelis really are.

4. Cruise tourism is clean industry
The Ministry of Tourism is doing a great job for Israel. Cruise ship tourism is a high dollar value for very little output. I can assure you that part of what #3 says is right on: bars will be popular because cruiseships will not allow you to bring more than one bottle of booze on board. I doubt the hooker part.

5. Don't overprice things and treat them politely.
Tourists are often fleeced. It leaves them leaving with a bad feeling. This is bad for tourism. Treat them well and politeness helps.
