31. Ben Ami is a liar - and here's the proof:
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (11.01.12)
J Street says "Israel’s settlements in the occupied territories have, for over forty years, been an obstacle to peace. They have drained Israel’s economy, military, and democracy..." The International Monetary Fund conducted a thorough inspection of Israel's economy this year and concluded: "Israel's economy remains strong.” Ben Ami obviously has a propaganda agenda that isn't served by the facts, because the IMF report also says the economy "reflects Israel's strong policy frameworks.” He's a liar.
32. The realists do not trade the tangible assets for a piece of
Dave ,   USA   (11.01.12)
useless Arab paper when the adversaries have no intention to live in peace with Israel. Ben Ami wants to destroy Israel from within.
33. TO # 22 . OVERWHELMED BY YOUR STUPEDITY !
FO ,   Belgium   (11.01.12)
What a shame for an Israeli ! Here straight from the official English 242 Resolution: "While Resolution 242 may call upon Israel to withdraw from territory it captured during the war,...". There is no "THE" as you pretend. The French version is not an official one, while the English is ! Endeed, France added an S to de, what became "des territoires", but without any juridical value.
34. TO BERTRAM # 30
FO ,   Belgium   (11.01.12)
Awfully sorry for you, but UN Resolution 181 was a proposal but not a binding resolution. Anyhow, it was rejected by all the Arabs states, so it went off the table.
35. Interesting.. Who is funding Ben Ami
mel ,   chicago   (11.01.12)
Its surely not mon ami.
36. To No 34
Bertram ,   London, UK   (11.01.12)
So if all the Arabs had accepted the plan and peace had resulted you are saying that Jewish claims to the entire land would still be justified? Yes?
37. J-street serves the haters of Israel
Allan ,   USA   (11.01.12)
J-street is more dangerous than Hamas because it is a tricky, deceptive and highly insidious organization/movement with an objective to harm the Jewish state and people. It is headed by the Kapos!
38. #23 HaShem will pay the traitors back with an interest.
Melanie ,   USA   (11.01.12)
Ben Ami's ancestors must be tossing in their graves.
39. To my fellow Americans: please beware
David ,   San Diego, CA   (11.01.12)
of the hostile J-street traitors who are working hard to replace Israel with another Arab state.
40. A few thoughts
Concerned Aussie ,   Melbourne, Australia   (11.01.12)
If religion was removed from the politics of both the Palestinian and Jewish camps (secular government) and democracy and full human rights were guaranteed by all sides, would Jewish people have any problem living with Palestinians in a multi-ethnic state? To me, it seems like some of you folk don't want Arabs in a Jewish State full stop. There's been a lot of needless hurt done on both sides, and the tragedy is you're both human. Two eyes. A nose. A heart. Cultural differences needn't be the chasm hardliners on both sides make it out to be. I'd bet a Jewish kid and a Palestinian kid would play with each other if they simply didn't listen to the sins of their fathers and grandfathers before them. There's a lesson in that.
41. Resolution 242 contradicts 1967 borders
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (11.01.12)
Resolution 242 says to SECURE BORDERS doesnt talk about land swaps. That is Obama's talk. Ben Ami doesnt understands Israel's reality. The settlerments are jewish so how will they contribute to loose Jewish identity. Arabs launched 5 wars something they must pay?
42. I have but one question
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (11.01.12)
How does posting international laws help haters? Nothing in the report makes any sort of recommendation. It simple states that we have a legal claim to Judea and Samaria. Nothing more nothing less. Allowing haters to keep on spouting their lies without contradiction serves haters. Stating the laws does not.
43. To #40 ...
Ed ,   USA   (11.01.12)
It's not religion that is the issue, it's nationalism. Although the Jews and Arabs are all people and part of humanity ... they have sharply distinct cultural, ethnic, political, and other barriers to being "one people". The sad and violent history of the rejection of the State of Israel show that even if we do accomplish two states, the resentment and anger will take generations to abate. In a single state you would get another Lebanon. Every person living in the region needs a chance to participate fully as a citizen of a country. We need two states ... a single state simply flips over who occupies whom. As a J Street supporting lefty, I have to remind you that tiny Israel is what's left over from the Jews of the entire Middle East, after having being ethnically cleansed from the Arab lands since 1947. The Jewish state needs to remain as it is, but within defined borders that allow the Palestinians to develop their own nation.
44. To all those who attack J Street
Stan ,   Israel   (11.02.12)
I'm sure that you are all concerned about the future of Israel, so is Jeremy Ben Ami. I strongly recommend that you read his book "Fighting for the survival of the Jewish Nation A NEW VOICE FOR ISRAEL" You might learn something,
45. #40 that is like saying if the moon was made out of cheese
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (11.02.12)
It's not so it is a waste of time and effort to pretend that it is. Every single Arab state including the proposed one that they want to steal from us states that the basis for all laws will be Sharia. So attempting to take religion out of the mix isn't possible period. As for wanting Arabs in a Jewish State - please learn something about Israel before making such a stupid statement. Over 20% of our population are ARABS already. And no we do not have a problem with that. Care to guess what the percentage of Jews are in any Arab country? You are totally ignorant about anything about the Middle East and especially Israel. You might want to learn some real facts before posting here and informing us that you are so ignorant. As for a 'Palestinian kid' they are taught from the time they can walk to murder non-Muslims. You should be addressing them and not us
46. # 37 (and all those who think with their hearts)
Stan ,   Israel   (11.02.12)
Alan if you are less than 50 years old, and Netanyahu continues to find excuses to avoid negotiating a TWO STATE SOLUTION' then it's quite likely that you will live to see the end of Israel. Ben Ami used the term GLOBAL CONCENSUS. That is what brought an end to White Rule in South Africa by means of a boycott that lasted more than 25 years. That is what will happen to Israel. It's time to realise that ISRAEL NEEDS A PALESTINIAN STATE MORE THAN THE PALESTINIANS DO.
47. They hate us anyway
Zivron   (11.02.12)
Most people hate the Jews anyway tho they recognise Jewish capacity can make them more powerful so the USA is for the Jews that magnified their qsuperpower status .They are resigned to the dichotomy . The world. Seven billion people how many know about the Levy Law a Ludicrous belief . Anyway the settlements are going to be slowed because of the world political balance.
48. jew haters dont need reasons, they will make some up
jack bauer   (11.03.12)
any student of simple history can see that as long as we are not dhimmis we can never live here in peace. And even as dhimmis we are subjagated to persecution, so in reality, we will never have peace as long as the religion of "peace" lives among us and beside us..... sorry to burst anyones bubbles
49. Reasoning will not work with fanatics.
Michael ,   California, USA   (11.03.12)
Peace in the ME needs to be imposed by the Great Powers. The Great Powers will also supervise that peace holds. Everything else is as unreasonable and futile as the comments posted here.
50. J Street is an evil offshoot of the Soros empire.
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.04.12)
J Street is an evil offshoot of the Soros empire. It's purpose is to weaken Israel and support for Israel. J Streeters should be dealt with as the traitors they are.
