1. The bad ones, the good ones
Keren IL-BR   (11.04.12)
It is quite simply here, that the majority of Israelis are hostage of Bibi and Hamas. This is the botton line. Hamas and Lieberman talking to avoid the creation of a Palestinian State. What they want is the One State Solution with Arabs demand civil and political rights inside Israel proper. This is the ultimate goal for Hamas: a State with Arab majority. And Bibi, Lieberman and Ersatz Sarah Bs and the like foolish support the idea that one day Palestinians will move happily to Jordan leaving behind their houses, land and tradition. THEY WILL NOT MOVE. We'll have 2.5 million Arabas making our life a hell. Abbas is the best leader we could have. He is paying a heavey price with his constituency for that. If we don't support him the option is the One State Solution.
2. The refugee problem
Stan ,   Israel   (11.04.12)
I have written here numerous times in the past that the Arab States are prepared to make peace with Israel while agreeing that no refugees will return to Israeli territory. Now Abbas the President of the Palestinian Authority has said the same on Channel 2. The immediate Israel Govt. reaction is to say that he is trying to trick us. If Netanyahu was serious about achieving Peace he would immediately announce that Israel is ready to begin negotiations with the PA. History will decide who is stalling Israel or the Pals.
3. Islamic humor at its best
A ,   Belgium   (11.04.12)
First, Abbas decides to upgrade "palestinian" status at the UN from shoe shine boys to WC sanitary engineers. Next, the Iranians admit that they sent hurricane Sandy. This next one...my eyes are tearing from laughing...Abbas jumps up and down and cries..."they're talking behind my back!" Can someone make them stop? It's too hilarious!
4. If somebody have said "OSLO ACCORDS" in say '91 we would've
tom ,   tel aviv   (11.04.12)
laughed hard....right? As long as we think that voting in elections gives us "INFLUENCE" we're naive.... I was for sure. "They" know better what the Nation needs/wants! So don't be surprised if we wake up one day to a brand new concoction prepared by Yossi or Shimon or Benji being poured down our throats once again.
5. @3 the root of trouble, For 2000 years girls from Brussell
Miron ,   USA   (11.04.12)
believe that Israel neighbors are born to bath their behinds with blood of Jewish Israelis. The habits of Old Rome are hard to forget...
6. #1 Losers don't have demands!
Mira ,   Vienna   (11.04.12)
Remember the attacked israel and lost! BTW concerning the 2,5 Mio Israeli Arabs a survey has shown that a big amount of them prefer NOT to have palestinians in their neighbourhood or marry their children to Palestinians. the Israeli Arabs are quite happy to live here! And when they look around in the region they can see 1000 reasons for that! Nothing to fear from them!
7. Why violating the 1995 Interim Agreement in the first place,
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.04.12)
by going to the UN? Why not return to the negotiating table and talk peace with the freely elected government of the liberal democratic and sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, Israel?
8. Peace treaty
QUDS AL YAHUDI ,   QUDS HAKA AL YAHUD   (11.04.12)
First before any peace talk, whole muslims and arabs world must recognize Israel must be and should be JEWISH STATE FOREVER, and they have no claim whatsoever to this land. Secondly as the Palestinians do not want any Jew to live with them, then we Jews must demand that all Israeli Arabs should leave Israel and Israel should give them money to enable them to buy property in their country.
9. No 2 You dont read the press? Nataniahu said he is ready to
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (11.04.12)

10. Whatever happened to the roadmap?
Justwondering   (11.04.12)
Did it get lost in the glovebox under a pile of junk? You just don't hear anything about the roadmap anymore...
11. So let me get this right
Howard Immanuelson ,   US   (11.04.12)
Israel makes concrete diplomatic concessions and gets a 20 year guarantee that will doubtlessly be violated in short-order, just as all the other ones are. In what way is this advantageous for Israel?
12. Stan, you are 100%
Keren IL-BR   (11.04.12)
The problem is people in the diaspora that from their confortable chairs, from Belgium, Brooklyn, London, feel the right to middle in our issues. They come here and say: "the land belong to God. Keep the settlements. Palestine is in Jordan". They keep saying that, but who pay the price is we, who serve the army, who have lost relatives in wars and who have drained the swamps in the land. Ask Ersatz Sarah B. where was she in 67, 73, 2000, 2006. The occupation is destroying us and when a Palestinian leaders talk like Abbas we cannot take for granted.
13. 12. Keren you are wrong
A ,   Belgium   (11.04.12)
Even though some of us don't live in Israel at the moment, for whatever reasons, it is a fact that many did. I spent 10 years in a settlement in the Samaria hills, (and I am NOT religious at all), had my car windows shattered from rocks thrown by arabs, did my "Shlav Bet" army service, including reserves in Khan Yunis. My daughter is presently doing her army service, I had a son in Hebron in the Magav and another son in gaza during cast lead. Now tell me, how many swamps did YOU drain? So yes, I believe I have the right to say that there is NO peace to be made with arabs (some even confessed to me they PREFER being under Israeli control), Abbas is a liar who finds fools like you to believe him, and there is NO occupation. Az teekfotsee lee!
14. # 13
Keren, IL-BR   (11.04.12)
A, can you just tell me what were you doing in a land that doen't belong to you? Israel is withing 67 lines. If you cross it you are entering foreign land. That's why 7.5 million decent israelis dont venture to go to the WB: it is immoral, illegal and disrespectful. You seem to be a decent person, that care about you family. So.. why do you aligne yourself with robbery, theft, invasion and occupation? Our land is here, within the 1967 lines. Abbas is right. The World is right. 7.5 million Israelis are right and you and the 500.000 settlers are wrong. If you agree with the colonization and still remain in the 67 lines, this is pure hypocrisy.
15. # 9 So Bibi said ...........
Stan ,   Israel   (11.04.12)
Then this morning he sent Gidon Saar to explain away Abbas's proposals, so that afterwards he could say "I DIDN'T REJECT THIS PALESTINIAN EFFORT TO BRING ABOUT NEGOTIATIONS" Never mind, you and the rest of 90% of those who write here about irrelevant and sometimes disgusting things will one day understand. Seven million Jews (about 55% of the world Jewish population) are outside GLOBAL CONCENSUS. 25 years of boycott of White South Africa due to GLOBAL CONCENSUS led to the end of White control in that country. THAT IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN HERE IF ISRAEL CONTINUES TO CONTROL THE LIVES OF ANOTHER NATION BY MEANS OF AN ARMY OF OCCUPATION. Fools, can't you understand, WE NEED A PALESTINIAN STATE SO THAT ISRAEL CAN SURVIVE.
16. Israel is alway giving, but getting nothing but lies.
Gabe ,   Canada   (11.04.12)
17. solution certain
DavidR ,   USA   (11.04.12)
If I were Abass, I would attack those mean ole hamasses. That would show them. Then we could get out the popcorn and watch the two sides of the bad coin destroy one another. And Israel lives happier eve rafter! THE END!
18. #10 justwondering
DavidR ,   USA   (11.04.12)
Would that be the Bush roadmap to the gas chambers you are referring to? justwondering!
19. stan #15
DavidR ,   USA   (11.04.12)
The Tanak is clear. HaShem says anyone who tries to divide His Land will be judged. Get in line. Your turn is coming.
20. Let Hamas have Abbas for breakfast.
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.04.12)
Let the honest Hamas terrorists have the Holocaust Denying terrorist Abbas for breakfast. Abbas is far more dangerous than Hamas. Ynet, stop calling the terrorist chieftainj Abbas the "Paletinian president". Palestine is fictional and fictional lands have no presidents.
21. abbas may be RIGHT who knows RIGHT ???
M.S. ,   mpls america   (11.05.12)
I realize Abbas sees things from his own view point he recently was quoted by media news sources to have hinted he is more open moderate flexible pliable about compromising about the radicial Arab demand for the return of all Arab housing land prior to 1948 which the Arabs claim Israel seized under war time conditions forcing Arabs to flee migrate I realize war is war but Israel is no Germany Japan no America so on we want to find a way to co exist with Arabs RIGHT and so as for any seperate secret deals with Hamas well I think Hamas has the RIGHT to seek any seperate deals with Israel like Egypt did in 1979 Jordan has Syria Lebanon Hezbollah Iran Turkey so on seperate deals do not mean we are trying to cheat any other Arabs like shoping you may buy at one 1 store then go to another store so on we all shop where we want and so Hamas offers deals we shop with them Abbas offers deals we shop with Abbas Assad Nasrallah so on such is life we are Jews Israelis not Americans British Russians Armenians Germans Japanese no not even like Swiss Swedes Poles Africans so on we are a simple honest moderate people who wish to co exist not dominate any body else RIGHT any way that is how I see things again those bent up on domination causing differences civil wars so on and so have their own system agenda are smart even smarter at times than we are we need study more become smarter more worldly than Arabs Jews were in 1889 1917 1938 even 48 56 67 73 we need adopt to November 2012 needs and so like the great super storm that hit the North East America Coast a couple of days ago lucky you Arabs Jews it was not Gaza Lebanon Syria Egypt Turkey Israel RIGHT and so around three 3 million Jews live in the area I pray for them that they do not die like the Egyptians did in the bible in the Red Sea 4 000 years ago RIGHT any way my own opinions are my own opinions no not those of any other Jew Israelis RIGHT and so but I still think a Syria Israel war is needed to save both Arabs Jews November 2012 is a big month and so the election 2012 Romney and so Obama a big election 2012 and so the future is uncertain dangerous you Arabs Jews need learn to think bigger deeper than you have I am learning to do this any way seperate deals do not mean double crossing any other Arabs RIGHT ??? Thank You... M. S.
